Sorry if this is answered somewhere else but I can't find it. Im new to vaping, about 3 weeks. I've had a volt for a week And I love it. My question is how many times can I refill a carto and how do I know if it's time. I started with 2 sampler packs and refill juice in watermelon, mint and grape. I have refilled my mint and watermelon at least 4 times each.

I feel like these things are never out of my mouth. I have emptied 7 cartos plus the refilling in just 6 days. I feel like I'm not over vaping though because I am only using 6ml nicotine and I used to smoke 1 1/2 packs a day of marlboro smooth so I don't think I'm coming near the nicotine level I used to inhale with analogs.

I also love the fact that I can vape in my room with the kids home and they don't know. I hid my smoking from my kids.

Welcome to ECF. You may be able to clean the carto's a few times before replacing them . If they start to seem clogged or not producing flavor and vapor , try soaking them for a few hours in Vodka or similar . Then blow out the excess juice ( blow on the threaded part ) then just put some juice in an d give it a go . If it works , your done , if it still doesn't perform , toss it . They are meant to be disposables anyway . But I have some that are several months old , and still working fine . Hope that helps . Oh , and a lot of people might tell you to air dry for a day or two . That's not needed , as the alcohol evaporates fairly quickly . So I just use mine right away . Never had an issue .

If it starts getting burnt tasting toss it and some people say when the draw gets tight it's time to toss it.I always burn em up so I never got the tight draw I hear about LOL.Welcome to the forum Mroutlaw:). If you are having nic fits it's OK to up your MG. Nicotine is not known to cause cancer like the real cigs.Good luck

Yep, use them until they burn out or taste burnt or clog up. If you refill them each time with the same flavor, you don't need to clean them at all. When they stop working good, toss them. Blanks are cheap enough and you can fill your own instead of using pre-filled ones. Cleaning them is worth it if you have nothing else to do, but it soon becomes a PITA that's not worth the trouble.

I'm not having Nic fits, I just enjoy the taste. I thought I would go through them, but never really did. I appreciate the insight on the cartos

Yeah, they are cheap enough that I don't think I'm going to bother cleaning. I figure that if I buy a pack of prefilled for $8 and then refill each one 5 times it's like getting 30 filled cartos for $18. Even if I go through 3 cartos a day, that's only $1.80 a day. I was spending $11-$13 a day in analogs.

Another thing you can do is buy blanks. That way you can get your juice anywhere. You don't have to get it at the same place you get your prefilled cartos. If you use pre-filled, you either have to use the same flavor to refill them, or you have to clean them. With blanks, you can get a larger bottle of juice and devote certain cartos to it. That allows you to explore your juice options. The best juice rarely comes from the same place you get your hardware from.

I would definitely try some blank carto's if ur mod can support them, the carto completely changed the way I Vape. I use to love to drip and I would never use carto's r but once the dual coil came out, I finally tried some out and they were what I needed to get that little extra throat hit I was looking for. I would find a good site like Avid Vaper or MadVapes and sample some carto's in different types and resistances to c which ones u like. I would buy three a piece, just incase u get a dud, which I find I get more duds with the dual coils than I do with single coil. But for me, the dual coils are worth every dud that I get!! A dual coil can last me personally anywhere from 3 days to a week and a half or so. I'm using a 1.5 ohm DC @ 4.2-4.5volts.
