Some of my carts have been refilled 4 times. So how do you know when a carto is done and you should throw it away? Does it look a certain way when you look inside them or do they vape differently somehow?

I don't want to waste 18 of these precious juice in a cart only to throw it away... =)

Thanks!
Tom

If you ever think that you've burnt a carto... don't waste an entire refill on it just to find out it really is dead.

Pop the top and only put about 6 drops in it. Then set it aside for 15 minutes or so... long enough for the 6 drops to fully wick in and hit the coil. Put the silicone ring back in, and then just "tailpipe" it. If it tastes burnt, don't waste your time or juice putting anymore in. If it tastes "OK".. go ahead and top her off and put the cap back on. And.. as I mentioned in a different thread... let it sit a while before vaping off of it. That will help reduce the risk of burning the refill. Honest. Cartos can be burnt by vaping them too quickly after a refill.

Yeah? I'll keep refilling them until they're dead, Jim. =)

That a great tip! I think I burnt this last one bc I was too excited to vape whatever was in it previously. =)

Keep refilling the normal way for awhile then you can pull the stuffing out and blot the old juice up - then wash and dry and reuse. I generally do this about once a week but it depends on how much you vape. I read about this here on the forum and this works well and saves me lots on new carts. Some also buy their own stuffing material and keep a cart going even longer. ;)

I've used the same cart for months... I use them until the plastic starts to deteoriate and melt - I've never had a problem with them doing this until about a month ago and I've been vaping since April - Once a week or so I wash out the filler material and replace with 1 I already have dry

Ummmm.. are you talking about a cartomizer (the topic of this thread), or a traditional cartridge?
