Well here is what I have done.

When I taste that burnt crap, I put it aside for refilling. I then blow it out toward the battery end and rinse it with 70% iso alcohol, then rinse with water, and let dry. When dry, I refill with 18 - 20 drops of menthol juice. Let sit for awhile, them start vapin away. There is a bit less vapor but the worst thing is is that upon refill, I get 20, 30 drags tops and it starts with the bad taste.

Is this normal? Should I do something different? I dont get it... It's a pain in the ... at the moment.:confused:

I'm getting about 1/6th the cart life when I refill compared to a fresh cart. A fresh cart goes for hours even on heavy vaping.

First, I would not use isopropyl alcohol. That stuff is poison when ingested and it won't all rinse out. If you want to use alcohol, use Everclear (pure grain alcohol) or the highest proof vodka you can find.

I don't use alcohol at all. I just blow from the mouthpiece end, rinse under the hot water faucet for about 1 minute & blow it out again. I'll do that one more time and dry it off.

I put the plug in the battery hole before filling, just to prevent any leakage. After filling, I remove the plug and blow from the battery end. Put the caps on and let it sit for a while.

Hope this helps.

Your problem is that you are vaping until you get the burnt taste. The cartomizer is now ruined... You have to refill when the tast/vapor production changes. Once a cart is burnt, you will keep getting that burnt taste when the atty is not soaked in liquid. I have carts that i have used for two weeks straight, no burnt taste. Try it, you'll like it!

Huh... Well, I usually take em off my batt when the taste changes. Or starts to change...

Also if I dont blow them out, I only get like 8 drops and then it pools up. Maybe I am doing something I dont realize...

I will not be uing alcohol anymore. I forgot that the residue still stays in there even tho it is dry. I will just blow em out and rinse them with water from now on.
