when using an XL battery with a fresh charge, which runs out first, the flavor on a fresh cartomizer, or the power of the battery?

I usually finish a carto at the same time as an XL battery goes blinking. If I try to put the carto onto another battery it tastes terrible and will be burnt in a couple of puffs.
Prefilled or Refilled...Wow or Premium, Auto or Manual? A freshly refilled Cool Carto will always outlast my XL batteries, while a Wow Carto will outlast the battery, but will be in need of a topping off or risk burning it. I don't vape a lot of prefills anymore, but on the occasions I do I think the XL batt outlasts the prefilleds.
Snow sir, in my experience you're right. I usually start with a prefilled, and they run out about an hour of vape time before the battery does. The wows about a half hour so...
right now im enjoying a wow waffle 18 on an xl manual. I vape from prefilled carts for now, since im still new to this. I've tried refilling, but it's messy and I get mixed results..
What refilling method do you use? I always just drip onto the batting and count. Never a mess and it always taste right. I tried that condom filling method and found it to be a pain.

well, Ive tried washing the carts in boiling water and sometimes I refill used cartos of a similar flavor. I pop the end off and add a few drops at a time, till the filler is saturated. I use the plug and put a condom on the end and let is sit overnight. It works, but it can be a messy chore.
When I first started vaping back in Sept. '10, I tried the condom method, and it was definately too messy, and I felt like I was wasting more juice that way, so I started just popping off the little white cap, and dripping instead. I'm now boiling out my cartos, and refilling them this way, and don't waste any juice at all.
As far as which goes first on me, I would have to say the cartos, unless I top them off, which I do twice, before sticking them into a bag for a cleaning. Heck, I still have cartos that I got back in Sept., and I'm still using them. I just had one battery to quit on me, and I got it back in Oct., but I have 5 backups, but plan on getting more of the XL Manuals, as soon as I can. They hold a charge a whole lot longer, than the Automatics do.

Ms. Flowerlady are you comparing them to king diamond xl's or the regular? Only reason I ask is I never had an original auto xl, but the kd xl's actually outlast my manuals by about 30-45 minutes...

On an XL, the batt outlasts any pre-filled cartos I have used but ones I've refilled myself outlast the batt. I only have one manual XL and haven't timed the difference between it and my autos, though.
