I'd be interested to hear what you think of the spitfire. I haven't tried that one yet. ECF is great! When you ask a question, you get a lot of comments and opinions regarding all sorts of things. As you can see our opinions of what is good/great can vary widely; as it's all very subjective. I had heard that the Smoktech "R" was really bad. I found it to be one of the best vapes for the money (at the time). It's really up to you to see what works for you. As they say: "Different strokes for different folks." :) What matters most is you're off the "analogs" and doing what you can to keep it that way!

Try the Vivi Nova. From I hear it's a decent little tank system. Haven't tried it yet myself but plan too. There are some things with it though watch pbusado's review of it you can find it on youtube.
^ what he/she said. I've been using vivi nova for the last 7 months and LOVE IT! can't go wrong specially if you go out on a limb and make your own ss mesh.

May want to look into rebuildable atomizers (RBA).

Offer full customization and loads of options. A bit of a learning curve but its nothing extreme.

Love my AGA-T on my Vari V2. Ordered an AGA-T2 I like the original so much.

I've been quite content using my IBTanked pyrex cartotanks with Ikenvape cartos 2.5 ohm, but just recently decided to make the plunge into the rebuildables, like Thompson said. Discount Vapors has the AGA T with a pyrex tank for $30. AGA Tiamat PLUS - Rebuildable Atomizer I heard after purchasing mine that Hoosier Vapes has them for $5 cheaper.

I've tried the clearomizers and have had no luck with them. I even check the reviews before I buy and I am always disappointed. I have gone back to my Kanger xl cartomizers. They work great on my ProVari. I like the Kangers because they are horizontal coil and have a plastic tube in the middle of the filler so it doesn't fluff up and cover up the hole. They don't die out in a week like a lot of the other cartomizers do. I've gotten a month or so out of them.

Okay so here I am newbie on the Viva Nova scene. So apparently I need to make sure the little silver piece that fits inside of the lid. . need to make sure it is in fact inside of the lid. When I removed the rubber sleeve it pulled it off. Point, I filled it up let it sit for 10 minutes turned it around, and upside down to make sure wicks were wet and there went my liquid, in the floor. :-x Lesson learned!
So now that it is fixed, it didn't spill this time I am letting it sit.

On to the Splitfire. . .. oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously??? NICE!!!! My Provari reads it at 2.1 ohms so I started at 4v and went to 5v ended at 4.7v - I am used to having to be at 5.9v to be "satisfied" (using that term loosely). I absolutely love this! I have Dragon's Cafe 12 mg 50/50 in it and love it. Not sure why it is 50/50 I normally order 70/30 or 80/20 but whatever it works for now!

Moving right along to the Viva Nova. . . .I have the 2.4 ohm in and the Provari reads it at 2.6. I am at 5.2 and it is nice, very nice!

I will be trying the different heads to see which I like best. For right now keeping in mind I haven't been able to explore the viva nova I am favoring the Split Fire!

I will keep working with it and switching the heads out. Loving them and so thankful for the tips and advice!!! MUCH better than my previous setup. Totally different experience.

I have ordered a few things from ikenvape and have the fusion set up on my wish list as well as the punched cartomizers. They were out of stock. I have ordered a cart punch and the unpunched cartomizers so I will be testing all of that out soon. Lots of new things to try and I am a very happy vapor!!

Thanks! I am just now seeing your post. I will head over there to place an order for the tank and do some shopping around! I have some Ikenvape cartos on the way so now for a new tank.

What voltage have you tried the 3 ohms at? General rule of thumb, take the resistance and add 2 for a starting point. 3 ohm carto, add 2, that's 5v.
As you said you like a really warm vape you may have to go with a lower resistance to get there, maybe a 2 ohm carto? That would put you at a 4v average and give you room to go up? You can drop down to a 1.5 dual coil if you really want warmth, but I've not had good luck with them lasting long.

Provari does not recommend low resistance cartos/clearos/attys

Back again. . . the viva nova is still pouring my juice out. Is this normal? Do I just need to be more careful with it or is something wrong?

Okay my goodness. . . so you leave the rubber piece on to hold that loose silver ring in. . . .

Have a look inside the mouthpiece and see if there is a second, small silicon tube. That little metal ring you mention should be sandwiched between two pieces of silicon. For some reason one piece gets "lost" inside the mouthpiece. Also the orientation of that metal "ring" is important. you want the flat side toward the coil.

Yes thanks, after spilling much juice I figured it out. Loving it and I cannot wait for my new adventure. Punching my own carts!
