Where do you order your 555 from

oh cool, this will be helpful.. my dad LOVES 555, but he's 0 nic now, so I can find out where to get him decent juices.. thanks.
I get mine from Vapor Renu and it's definately my all day vape, however, I have heard that some were not happy with it because it has a chocolate flavored base in addition to the nutty taste of 555. I am waiting on my next order from VR and have been out for a couple weeks and have been using a DIY made with flavoring from Health Cabin. I fiddled with it a bit, adding a bit of the chocolate and a bit more peanut butter to suit my taste, but a good option is the 555 flavoring from HC. It's wonderful. I really need to find someone to split the shipping costs so I can justify ordering more flavoring from HC because it's wonderful to have that backup when I run out, I'm kicking myself because I got the 10ml bottle.

BTW,if you do decide to do the DIY thing; after mixing the HC flavoring with your VG or PG it must steep! I had to wait at least a week for the flavor to come through. I used one bottle anyway even though the flavor was only slight and it only started coming through strongly in about a 10 days.

DIY- 30ml VG/PG 90/10 mix, about 10% HC 555 flavoring (adjust it to my taste), and about 3% Loranns Peanut Butter, 2% Loranns Chocolate, and 2% HC Milk Chocolate because I like the chocolate in addition to the 555 taste. oops, I forgot, I also add TPA toasted marshmallow to add some sweetness.
I usually use carts with the juice because I like it smooth, though if going out for the day I fill some cartos. IMO it tastes more like an analog with a carto and purer with a cart.

Excellent! I'm adding that recipe to Don's calc sheet right now. lol I may need to tweak it to my liking but it looks like a great starting point.
Any detailed suggestions if one were to go with a pg/vg of 70/30 final mix?

I second GoodProphets ( 30ml 11mg, 18mg and 24mg Liquid - VG Based Liquid ). The VG 555 is amazing, as I have told Rob repeatedly. Right now he has 18mg and 11mg 555. You could get his 0mg (no nic) 555 and his 36mg flavorless juice and mix it. Its certainly worth the extra effort. I doubt I will be trying the home made juices any time soon. I am fairly new to this and still trying to figure out why one cartomizer tastes different from others. I glad to see other people getting something from this thread.
We need to come up with some kind of "Vapor Olympics" to determine the best of the best.

I have heard a lot of good things about Good Prophets and that is one hell of a deal for new customers.
Iv only tried V4L 555 and really like the flavor but it falls just short of satisfying my cravings. You say GP 555 is VG based, is that different from V4L?
VG is generally thicker and more "gooey" so to speak, but the Good Prophets VG comes much closer to the consistency of PG liquid than other VGs, in my opinion. haven't tried the 555, so I can't comment on that, but everything else I've tried from him has been top-notch. I'm addicted to the Camel, RY4, and Rad Bull. I seriously think this guy's found the holy-grail of juices, but that's just my opinion.
I'd like to agree with that but as I'm finding out (the hard way) is that peoples taste varies GREATLY on this e-juice stuff. Just look at all the great reviews and comments that people give to BWB's Applewood. I ordered some because of all the hype but personally don't care for it. So the "Vapor Olympics" may not work out to well. lol Catchy title though! lol
Now as for your original question that I rudely forgot to answer. 555 is the wife's and my favorite so far. And yep... from BWB. As of tonight we are out of an all day tobacco vape and I just tried to order more of this but Don's site is down and he's not taking ANY orders. I think he's getting dicked around on his retail license or something. Poor guy has got to be ready to pop over all the crap he's been getting. Not to mention loosing money everyday.
Oh... And as I've read hundreds of times on here... You need to let BWB "steep" for a week or 2. I didn't believe this until I just found a cart full of some 555 from over a week ago and this stuff is 5 times better than it was when it showed up at the door! The wife's chasing me around trying to steal it from me! It's the last tobacco flavor we have! lol
Sweet thanks. Im getting my 555 from Vapor4Life "V4L" and it is not "gooey" at all, so they must use PG. It would be nice to know their exact ratio unfortunately they dont share that info.
I've only tried 555 from three sources. Dekang is OK but not anything to write home about. FreedomSmokeUSA is a good 555 and so is Welcome to awesomevapor.com - . I haven't tried Good Prophets or Health Cabin, but the prices and deals look inviting.
555 is such a good base for adding flavors. I usually drop a little chocolate or vanilla in my 555 cart from time to time.

I got 555 from Revolver, Truesmoker, and Juicy Vapor (Reduced pg/vg). They were all 10 ml bottles and in mid nic mg. Of the 3, Revolver had a more smooth and better tasting 555.

I was looking at GP this morning and noticed they dont have 24mg of 555 so I came back to your post. You say I can mix the 36mg flavorless juice with the 0mg 555 to get the right strength but wouldnt I also be cutting the flavor?
I don't honestly know, I like VG myself, but they say that VG weakens flavors, so I imagine that with 70/30 PG you could get away with less flavor. It's all about your personal taste, and many times if I think a juice is lacking in something I'll just more add more flavoring for my taste. I really wish I would have ordered peanut flavoring from Health Cabin because it would probably be closer to the nut taste of 555 than Lorann's PB, but I have to wait to order more from HC because I just can't justify the shipping cost when I have alternatives.
