No... It Doesn't look good at all.

This and BP are your biggest opponents at the moment, not BT. At the moment BT as a proponent of vaping will help against FDA and BP shutting down vaping completely.
Don’t be Silly. Nobody wants to Shut Down Vaping Completely.
Why shut something down that you can make Money on. Or Tax.
That isn’t very Smart. And trust me, the Powers involved in e-Cigarette policy making are Very Smart when it comes to making Profits. Or Taxing People.
Don't be sillier, ever hear of ANTZ?
People have been know to block money making things if they can't be involved in it, they use it as a threat so that they can become involved in it.
What you're showing is that you're assuming they will be doing this, not that they will be doing this.
And lastly, by the look of your pic and you saying you smoked for 9 years, by the time you started everyone knew that it was bad for you and there were additional things in it that were bad for you. Why are you blaming BT?
Maybe Im just Jaded
But if it gets down to a fight between ANTZ and Profits/Taxes, I bet on the Profits/Taxes any time.
There are Cigarette ANTZ, it is still sold.
There are Alcohol ANTZ, it is still sold.
There are Porn ANTZ, it is still sold.
Etc
Why are e-Cigarettes so Different?
This and BP are your biggest opponents at the moment, not BT. At the moment BT as a proponent of vaping will help against FDA and BP shutting down vaping completely.
That's all we can do at this point. They haven't done anything yet besides say that they are getting into the market. We are simply discussing what ramifications this could have on us/ecigs depending on the millions of possibilities.
...now that was just uncalled for.
You just dont get it, do you?
We are dealing with an entirely new breed of ANTZ these days. The ANTZ today are not just self-righteous religious zealots, or puritans or socially-aware do-gooders. They are SOCIOPATHS. Stone, cold psycho control freaks who have, through generations of social climbing, finally got themselves into positions of power and wealth where they can actually exert their sociopathic control-freak desires on the population at large.
We're talking real-world Dexter-types here.
This is not a game. It is not funny. It is not hyperbole.
Our world is being slowly taken over--in business, in finance, in religion, and in government--by stone-cold insane sociopaths.
It's NOT about smoking, or drinking, or porn, or morals, or health.
It's about CONTROL. They don't give a rats ... about your health or anyone else's health, other than they might want you to live long enough so they can revel in the suffering of your old age decrepitude as they slowly drain your retirement accounts to pay for your medical treatment--for diseases that THEY gave you by putting crap in your food and water for the last 50 years.
Wake up, people. This is NOT a game. This is NOT about vaping. It is about the survival of any hint of freedom for the majority of humanity--or total enslavement of 99% of the planet by a tiny cadre of insane, psycho, twisted crazy freaks.
Wake up now--or you're soon going to find yourselves living the rest of your days in a real-live nightmare...
BAHAhahaha!!!! Like they helped clove smokers when cloves were made illegal? Right, they just want to help us. You keep thinking that!
After reading that article I thought of many more possibilities that could happen. For example (mind you this is purely a thought, I am fully aware that BT hasn't done anything yet) the FDA might regulate the heck out of ecigs:
No flavors - because yummy flavors would force children to smoke
No high nic - because nicotine is a poison and dangerous, what if a child drank it?
Only stick batts - because mods use big batteries that will blow your face off (literally)
Rigorous testing - because if we do tests on something and find out that it is harmful it is ok to sell it if we tell you "this might kill you"
And on and on and on....
BT is rich enough to meet and follow all of the regulations and still make a product that abides by them. Thus putting all juice and mod vendors out of business and making vaping as fun as smoking. They don't want to make an ecig product, they want to make money. They know that people are quitting cigs and picking up ecigs and they are trying to get in on it.
I do not see BT as the enemy but they are sure not the savior you're making them out to be. This of course is speculation and my opinion. Anything could happen, but once it happens it will be too late. I'd rather fight them all the way than welcome them with open arms.
This and BP are your biggest opponents at the moment, not BT. At the moment BT as a proponent of vaping will help against FDA and BP shutting down vaping completely.
Show me where I made them out to be the savior?
Yes it is speculation, opinion, totally incorrect
Show me where I brought up any of your above items and said hey I agree with what they did.
No it was called for, you can't bring up the past of others and ignore your own.
Myyrkezaan where to begin....
First and foremost do some reading up on what's actually in a cigarette. If you had done this in the first place you would have found there are some great chemicals in them.... Ones like arsenic, cyanide, and formaldehyde to name a few. 4,000+ chemicals in a cigarette and you're going to tell me they're all needed? If BT takes over ecigs the FDA becomes a non-factor the same way that they are now for cigarettes. BT becomes the controlling interest in ecigs in the US. They've never been good about competition, what makes you think they'll suddenly change their tune with ecig vendors?
BTW- My avatar is that of a man myth and legend known as King Diamond. While Al Bundy was funny, can't say he had the impact of King. Not only was he one of the founding fathers of black metal, was an influence for a number of bands not of that genre. He wrote the best song Metallica ever did ("Mercyful Fate" medly from Garage Inc.) for one. Ever hear of a small band called Nirvana? Oddly enough if not for King Diamond that band would have never exsisted.
Well Bham, you started the discussion, feel free to jump in anytime![]()
Was talking about your picture profile. Ever hear of these: David Byron, Alice Cooper, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Rob Halford, Geddy Lee, Ozzy Osbourne and Robert Plant; those were his influences. But this has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.
@HarmonyPB: ok, then one at a time
This and BP are your biggest opponents at the moment, not BT. At the moment BT as a proponent of vaping will help against FDA and BP shutting down vaping completely.
Show me where I made them out to be the savior?
"The above bolded statement is where you:"
You need to look up the definition of savior, that in no way advocates that BT is innocent of anything they have done in the past, it is a statement that they are also in the game and will lose if BP and FDA make severe restrictions against vaping.
Yes it is speculation, opinion, totally incorrect
I disagree. Opinions aren't "correct" or "incorrect", they are opinions. What I stated was my opinion, you don't have to agree with my opinion, but that doesn't make it incorrect. It simply means that you disagree with it. That's fine. You are free to have your opinion too.
You need to look at the definition for opinion: they can be correct or incorrect. Your opinion was that I made them out to be the savior, I did not, the opinion is incorrect.
It was uncalled for. You:
Look at his profile picture, looks young.
He smoked for 9 years, combine that with youngish picture, at the time he started smoking risks of cigs known. Now the profile picture could be old but even in the mid 80's people knew smoking was bad for you.
His previous post:
Mrrykezaan showing that if BT has no problem adding carpet glue to cigs, they can/will add whatever they want to ejuice when/if they start producing it.- "they can/will add ...", that right there is him saying they will do it
This part I have no idea what you are talking about. I never said you brought up those points. In fact, I said that all of those points were made up by me, in my head, as an example of what could happen. And you can't really argue with that, because at this point anything can happen. Well, I guess you've already proven that you can argue with that since you seem to argue with everyone who has an opinion different than your own. You do know that this is a forum right? The whole purpose is to discuss things. You should really take care of how you come across and watch how you attack people personally when they post things you don't agree with. Maybe you haven't figured this out yet, but not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you. There is no prize for trying to "win" everyone over to your way of thinking. If you behave yourself this is actually a really nice forum (at least the parts I've been in) and people are able to discuss things like adults, not internet trolls. Stick around, you might learn something.
Didn't attack anyone, brought up information, may have made incorrect judgements, but not attacking.
Thanks for saying that I'm not behaving, not understanding this is a forum, that I'm not discussing things and only arguing, attacking people personally. That I haven't figured that people have different opinions, that I'm trying to win, not behaving myself, implying that I'm not discussing something like an adult and possibly being an internet troll and that I might learn something.
Now I am going to point this out here to avoid confusion: the above paragraph is not an attack it is the information that was in your last paragraph and again just presenting information.
But having said that I'll bow out of this discussion because apparently I'm coming across as something that I'm not intending and this discussion/argument (whatever you want to call it) has devolved from the original point of the thread.
