Howdy Folks :)

From outside Calgary, but my heart still beats green with Sask blood! (GO RIDERS!!)

OK...was just at our little local tobacco shop. THe only e-cig they have there is the crown seven hydro. 125 bucks for it, then the carts are only the equivalence of "8-10" cigarettes (as posted on their website).

Anyone know if BLOOGS can be bought in Canada?!

Cheers,
PPP

Welcome PPP,

The 2 piece ecigs like bloogs are available in Canada but I haven't seen a single reliable supplier up here for them and some of our suppliers are downright sh.t.

You can grab from one of the US suppliers but then you're going to have about a 12 day shipping time.

I STRONGLY suggest you do some reading before you order from anywhere. There are some great suppliers and some total dickwads. A bit of research will save you a ton of potential grief.

Oh yeah..stay away from EPuffer. The batteries are trash and the customer service is even trashier.

Thanks for the heads-up Nuck ;)

I have only been researching e-cigs for a few days, and am shocked to hear that there is no single make/model that is the top-o-the-bunch.

I am not in a big hurry to get one right now. I think i will keep researching what is worth the money and which are not...

What is the average life-span of e-cigs? Do any of them last more than a few months?

Hi puff-puff-pass...... Welcome to the hole.......

Personally, I think its going to be a while before anyone is named "KING OF THE VAPE PILE" as these devices are so new. And like anything new you'll have manufacturers and suppliers coming out of the woodwork with only one thing on their minds ...... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

The problem with that is, while all their efforts go towards profit, they only actually look at development once they are personally "better'd" by the competition. You can see this in the market currently with new innovations popping up which really in the end is only eye candy.

Its getting there, and it WILL get better, but with the BOOM in interest and publicity lately its going to be a very confusing and unstable product market for a while.

The best thing to do is research research research, but remember this.... many that do find thier way to the forums are usually (not all) are the ones who are experiencing problems and looking for answers.

Search out the best information you can summarise and jump in...... because I guaranty you without a doubt that your first purchase will NOT be your only purchase. And like ANY electronics, you will NEVER have the best !! Thats only because at the time you end up purchasing the creators are already working on something better.

Good luck in your choice(s), lol, and I'm sure once you get a feel for the site that you'll end up becoming a regular visitor (or should I say forum junkie, lol) and will become one of the ones who will be offering help and suggestions.

VapeOn,
Greg

That's a nice black 901, and it's only $US40 from a Canadian supplier.
Kartys is a forum member too - <edit> oops, out of stock there too

Also noticed that their kit is only 1 e-cig and a usb charger. Doesn't list any carts or extra batteries included in that price. I think that for that money, i would rather get the 901 kit from healthysmokeshopDOTcom. Little more dough, but getting more for the same 901 (me thinks its the same 901)!

We have so much beaver, we have to chase them out.
While you're busy chasing beaver, have a break, take a vape.

Johnsky from Oakville checking in.

Luckily I became aware of e-puffer's issues before I decided to purchase. (Well, I still have yet to make my final decision).

Someone said Burlington was known for nothing...
... at least you have a coat factory that has nothing to do with you.

... all we have is... um... well... we have a GO station! With regular stops sometimes...
and retired people.

Hmmm, thought there'd be more Quebecers around here as smoking is near to a religion in these parts. Course, if the smoking don't get you the poutine will. :D

Northern Bob

I'm a Montrealer too, Bob..and agree it's so much a religion that most smokers that I know won't even bother with the e-cig. I got more negative feedback about the ecig's dangers from smokers than non-smokers.
One original argument is that PG is antifreeze and very dangerous....guess they don't know anything about USP pharmaceutical grade and I can't bother arguing anymore

Love those poutines though..awesome;)
