Just bought a ProVari - and I've never even smoked before but got hooked onto vaping accidentally while helping my mom-in-law wean herself off tobacco (which she did and never looked back after vaping :) ) - and I like the AC9. Where can I buy it as it seems it is not available on the manufacturer's website?

If the AC9 is no longer being sold - what do you guys think of cobra and z-atty pro? These are the other 2 I really liked as well, so I may end up going with one of these unless I can get an AC9.

Thank you for any feedback!

Worked! disaznrush saved the day! The RSST is on the way. Great vendor - Rich, the customer service rep was a former customer of theirs turned employee - talked to me at length about the RSST as well as everything else I asked, given I'm new to vaping :). I liked the attitude - I think I'm gonna be a regular there. Besides they are in California, as I am, so shipping oughta be fast/less expensive.

It is interesting that this company SmokTech cloned the AC9, just found that out while I was googling the sites you gave me - if something is worth cloning, means it's good. The AC9 "patent" holder, if any, must be ...... as hell :)))..

It's at least partially - if not completely - true that all genisis are clones. The idea / original design was shared by raidy under an "open-source" policy that anyone could make one and even sell one as long as it was not for profit. People quickly ignored his wishes and started profiteering and it snowballed from there. Now what you have is the small guys who copied raidy getting ...... that the chinese are copying there copies. In a twisted way it's all rather comical.

You can read the original thread where raidy shared the design and his vast array of inventions / creations here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/132663-all-my-mods-part1.html

The good news is that raidy seems to have let go of the disappointment and moved on to bigger and better things, and we are getting some good stuff for very cheap now. :2c:
