Hi, I've started e-smoking lately and I've gotten a bit obsessive about it. I own an njoy penstyle, an NPRO, and an Eaze Magnum (which from reading this forum I found was a Loongtotem V9 clone).

However, out of all three, I love the taste and smoke output of the V9/Magnum a ton. I bought it off of epuffer, which took a while to arrive (especially compared to puresmoker), and the price they have on cartridges ridiculous. At basically $3/cartridge I might as well go back to taking up real smoking.

I see on Loongtotem's site (and a couple of other dodgy-looking sites) that I can get a huge bundle for a good deal, about $1.30 per cartridge. What sucks is LT's website is a pile of garbage, and won't let me put in my shipping info without going haywire (in both Safari and Firefox). I'd really hate to have to use my laptop to order stuff (using a Mac, laptop is Windows), and if the website is that terribly coded I'm worried about the validity and safety of using it and putting in my credit card.

Is there any website that sells these cartridges in bulk that's at least somewhat reliable and actually allows me to order? Or can someone verify LT's website is safe? Out of the three e-cigs I own, I really hate to make the Magnum/V9 my backup/special occasion cig, as it's the one I like the most. I'd rather have the NJOYs on the back burner.

well apart from the ones you mentioned, the only other site i know of that sells a similar product-it may well be exactly the same,i really dont know-is smoke51...i think theyre based in las vegas...unfortunately ive just checked, and theyre also $3 each, with no bulk offers...

judging from the experience of forum members who have ordered from them, loongtotem are a nightmare to deal with...very very bad service, not recommended to deal with...do a search of the forum for information...

anyway, the only other affordable option is the new mini from ecig.com...it seems to be another loongtotem clone...problem is,theyve been taking orders for them for months, and havnt actually shipped any to our reliable forum regulars whove ordered them way back...theyre obviously having problems...and ecig.com arent reliable anymore either...the product could well be crap,or maybe theyll pull it...we just dont know....

oh yeah...Janty are supposed to be bringing an LT clone out sometime, but no news on release date or prices yet...

so im afraid its going to cost you to continue to use the LT as your regular ecig...unless you wait for developments,or take a chance and order from LT...i wish you luck...

ps...its supposed to be possible to refill the LT cartridge with eliquid multiple times...might tide you over for awhile...

Ugh. That sucks. I may buckle and try LT at least once. At least then I'll have a stack of 50 cartridges to last me.

Is there a tutorial on how to refill the cartridges? I've been searching the forums for useful info (wow there's a lot of it here) and I must have not found that thread/link. I am 100% clueless on refill liquids as puresmoker's prices are cheap enough for me to not care much about refilling.

I'm even shopping for a cigarette case to carry all my e-cigs. This is horrid, now I'm going to need electronic-electronic-cigarettes to cure my e-cig addiction! :p

the jury is still out as to whether e-cig's disposable model will fit yours. they could be the same thing. im not sure's if yours is a re-branded loongtotem as smoke 51 would be going ballistic as they have exclusive rights to sell loongtotems in the states. if you try to order from loongtotem you will get a message directing you to the smoke51 web-site currently. but perhaps they are deciding to call it quits on their venture and e-puffer are taking up the call. LT are shady. it cant be said enough.

Hello Wooper,

I totally agree with you on Magnum from epuffer. I think this is the best electronic cigarette on the market with only 1 drawback, high price.

I found similar looking product on e-cig.com, got very excited and ordered extra ecig set and 20 extra cartridge packs. The excitement stops here, it’s been more then a month and my order is not even processed yet. I sent several messages to e-cig.com without any luck. I called my credit card company and will dispute the charge.

I was looking for another solution and found discount coupon for ePuffer.com, this is how I landed here.

I can show you how to get Magnum cartridges at a discounted price and free shipping. ;)

1. Go to ePuffer.com, enter webshop
2. In categories menu, navigate to Cartridges / Eaze Magnum
3. In cartridge description click on almost hidden "Quantity Discount" link
4. Add 10 cartridge packs (at $11.95) of your choice to cart
5. Click on Checkout.
6. Enter this coupon: PUFF4LESS (10% discount will cover shipping charge)

I don't know how long this coupon will be good for, but with steps I showed above, each cartridge works out to $2.15

I smoke 1 cartridge a day so $120 bucks that I have spent will last me for almost two months. I’m happier now, thank to this site.:thumb:

I'm with you, Wooper. I love my LTv9 clone (purchased from e-cig, before the bottleneck). Smoke51 has the best prices on carts, but I put a large order in on 3/21 and it is still on back-order without much response from them.

It does suck how expensive the carts for this are getting. The hesitation I have with LoongTotem is that their carts are marked with a lower nic content than the other providers. I'm still trying to figure out how that is? And are the higher nic strength ones I am getting are really higher or just advertised as such. Maybe different suppliers??

I have found refilling them to be quite easy, once you get the hang of it. I just drip into the cart, being careful not to get any in the center hole. I'll be trying a needled syringe in the near future, but I can get some extra time out of my carts pretty easily. I will say your mileage may vary...some carts spring back to life quite well...others seem to burn out the atomizer wire quickly. The quality of each cart is varied.

Thank you, Ryan, for the tip on epuffer. That is one provider I hadn't found yet.

sacha,

The smoke51 carts that now come higher strength are DEFINATELY higher strength, lol.....

My 14mg reg tobacco are like night and day compared to the old 8mg only offered ones. I also found with this new release (being in a "sealed" package) to be VERY wet with juice and in flavor. You'll notice how wet when you remove the little plug they now have in the battery end.

Not sure I quite like the "full" flavour the reg tobacco now has. Its kind of has a caramel/nutty taste to it (to me anyways).

Guess I'll have to use it for a while to figure if I want to continue with that route or juice continue refilling with a flavour I prefer.

VapeOn,
Greg
