Hello everyone,

I´m Thomas, just signed up here, but I´ve been reading along for quite some time already.
I´ve started vaping a year ago, got quite a collection of hardware by now and I believe I know a thing or two about vaping.

Recently I have developped the (dumb) idea of building my own e-cig, complete with big battery (similar to a Vamo or so) and a repairable atomizer.
I have a pretty good idea of what it should look like and I have a few friends who cover all the skills needed to manufacture the individual pieces.
Whether or not it will be usable remains to be seen, for now the fun part is joining a few friends for a spare time project.

The problem I have are the pieces one wouldn´t make but buy, because they are either too hard to make or just too cheap, such as the electronics board (I think it will become a DNA20), the + and - buttons and a power switch for the battery.
I´m quite confident, together with my friends, we can do this, but whenever it comes to addresses where to find the parts, I don´t find what I would like to see.

I.e.: The most common source seems to be madvapes.com, they have quite a variety of buttons and switches for mods, but not a single one with a metal cap like the Vamo has.
I tried searching in electronic shops, outside of e-cig stuff, plenty of switches available, but the smallest I found are twice as big as I need.

There´s more, but before I drown the newbie forum with these advanced modder questions, maybe I should ask, which of the sub forums in here would be the right place to ask these questions?

greetings from Italy
Thomas
