The only auto I've tried is the SD 510 Keyring Mod, which is very, very small, compact and lightweight. It's only a 300mAh battery so it doesn't last a super long time between charges. This seems to be primarily designed for stealth, which is obviously not your concern here, but I'm really impressed with the draw and consistency of the vape. FWIW, I have two of them, and they've been absolutely reliable.

All I use are autos. I need an automatic as much as I need a high strength nicotine to keep me away from the cigarettes.

By far the best automatic I've tried is the Echo. It's a fat battery similar to an eGo, but it has a flat top with a "sealed" 808 connection. It has a very good automatic switch; unlike other autos it immediately shuts off when you stop puffing on it and will turn on immediately even after it hits the cut off. You can find the Echo at Mountain Vapor, Northwest Vapor, Cropduster901, smoktek and NHaler just to name a few. Mountain Vapor has the best starter kit, with 5 cartos or 2 CE4's. Mountain Vapor also has an automatic eGo which I am told is just as good as the Echo. Unfortunately with the Echo, you're stuck with the cartomizers or CE4's designed for it if looks matter to you. If not, then any 808-threaded device will work just fine on it.

I have both the Echo and an X2 from Smokeless Image; the Echo definitely has an easier draw and a better switch, but the X2 does have cone threads for aesthetics.

When it comes to minis, the eRoll has become very popular recently. I haven't tried it, nor am I likely to. I just don't feel like messing with atty+tank systems on the go, which is odd because I exclusively drip. The PCC issue is more pressing to me, though that can be worked around.

I absolutely love the Sidesho by Modern Vapor, though it is the only super mini I've ever tried. It has a nice easy draw and the PCC is very nice. However, since I drip on autos I do have 2 dead batteries inside a month but only one of which I can definitively say was caused by over-dripping. The Sidesho is the same size as the Blu or the Volcano, but better quality. And they offer blank cartomizers, the only company with a battery in that size range who does so that I have found. I do have a Joye 306 kit on the way to compare.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend the Volt. At least for my preference, I prefer an easier draw than what I've encountered with their batteries. They are a quality product though, and they do have great service. Of the standard minis I have tried, I actually really like the Fin. It's a cheap brand that you can grab from WalMart for about $10.00. I wouldn't recommend their flavors, but they have the easiest draw of the stick batteries I have tried and replacements are cheap.

If you want a pipe-like experience, I haven't heard horrible things about the 601-C. It's an automatic e-pipe that takes 510 cartomizers.

Good luck.

You beat me to it. After reading the first post the only large auto batt I could think of was the Echo!

I found a kit here, but have no experience with the vendor - The Echo Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit - $44.95

Northwest Vapors is a very good vendor who is extremely well-liked among Echo users. Unfortunately I haven't ordered from them myself, but that's only because they were out of stock when I ordered my kits.

They only sell the "stealth" version. Instead of one giant, bright LED at the end of the battery it has one tiny pinhole LED near the base. Same good battery and same great vape.

I still highly recommend Mountain Vapor, mostly because of their great kit. For about the same price as the kit from NW vapors you get 5 cartos or 2 CE4's and 2 batteries in either 650 or 1300 mAh, and the stainless models come with dual coil cartomizers. But Mountain Vapor only has the old style batteries with the giant LED.

It really just comes down to preference on which you prefer, unless you're epileptic. ;)

smokeless image sells some auto egos, good battery life but they take kr808 cartos, i'd recommend kangers, or even the clearos they sell

When Bloog came out with their new 650mah manual battery thah takes clearomizers still seeing the 808D type threading. Unfortunately while those fit on their automatics you can't vape too well with those. The 78mm and 102mm manual batteries which are about 250mah and the new 650 are what you would use.

Now for the Ego batteries if you need have a 808 whatever you can get a conversion type adpater to go from 510 to 808 in case you have an old 808 type tank you want to use. Those are found all over for only a few dollars being a small part. Madvapes carries them there as well. 510 to 901/808-D Adapter

Yah I got a 510 Battery to 801 Atomizer Adapter cause the 801 charger was all they had in.

Ouch! That can hurt! I know that from going to replace a tank(Smok Tech 5ML Dual Coil Tank Cartomizer (Clear)) where the entire thing came apart when first going to fill it. The cartimizer was stuck in the bottom and had to rest that against the edge of a desk to slap the cart out! Fortunately the tank didn't leak once I got the then filled cart back in half way, filled the tank itself when pushing the bottom back in since those are press fitted and went to vape with it.

When going back to order a newer better tank(ST-510 Locking DCT, 6ml - gunmetal SmokTank XL DCT - Locking Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank - Gun Metal) they were "out of stock" of course requiring a nice little Bing search.

Those however went on the Ego Vamo. The second might an option for you however once you get into either replacement battery or go with another brand's Auto. I tend to find that clearomizers on the other hand only seem to work out with manual batteries especially the typical 808 size where you would likely want a good 650 auto. I tried this out with the clearomizers Bloog is now carrying and found that out trying them on both the 650 which is manual not variable and their regular 808 autos and manuals all three sizes finding the manual works out while the cartimizers are still what you would use on the automatic.

Another battery you may want to consider in case of any delay while waiting for them to replace the Auto battery you had or to simply have while recharging the battery you end with to consider would be a USB 510 passthrough battery. If you sit in front of a pc for hours at a time you simply plug this one in and vape. I may consider the one I just ran into here as well since the present 5v passthrough at the moment won't work with more then the cartimizers. 510 Automatic USB Passthrough

Wow That's cheap. Can 1.7 to 3 ohms work on it?

Hello ka9qlq, sorry to hear about your disability. Is it a problem with manual dexterity,
or does the narrow diameter of the ecig make it difficult to hold and press the button at
the same time? My grandfather had a hard time with anything that was too small.

There is a mod called The Natural, that can be set up with a small 18350 batt or a
larger 18650 batt. You could wrap your hand around the mod with the button seated
in your palm, and then a light squeeze should be enough to activate it.
It has a 510 connection that will take most clearos, but not the Kanger T2 or T3's.

It is an unregulated mechanical mod, so it will run at a slightly higher voltage than the
cig-a-like 510 batts. You may want to get clearos with a slightly higher ohm rating.

I don't know if it would be too heavy for you to hold onto. Setup with an 18350, it
shouldn't be too heavy.

Good luck.

There you go! I figured the vendor would get back to you promptly while unfortunately someone else wasn't as familiar with how the dealer return policies work there. You will tend to find that most vendors have a 30 day return policy to begin with since that is the popular time allowed for all type of products consumer electronics, pc hardwares, home appliances, etc. including ecigs.

Here while stting for lengthy periods in front of the desktop here I have a Bloog 5v usb passthrough which takes their Aurora cartimizers but not their new clearomisers however. The 510 passthough there might not take a large tank like a 30ml while it should automacally adjust to the 510 cartimizer, clearomizer, or tank used since the atomizer is what will be drawing the actual current. The information doesn't specify any limitation as far as resistance.

My right arm and hand no longer work, I have 5 percent use of my left hand and am not able to lift it high enough to even try to hold it in my mouth. with 1 finger and 1 thumb I can operate a mouse by sliding my hand around. I have muscular dystrophy, it slowly kills of all your muscles until you have no lung or heart muscle left. average life span 27, I hit than 20 years ago, and I tell my doctor it's because I have smoked most of my life.
