Liberty Flights just got their Riva lite kits restocked. 20% off makes them 29.99, they have a U.S. store, and they accept Paypal since their main location is in the UK. Hurry though, they go fast! :) 20% off your whole order! Scroll halfway down for the Rivas, they carry both the 510 and 901 models.

The Riva is like the generic version of the eGo. I believe they're cheaper because they aren't Joye branded. It's sort of like buying the actual Tylenol brand or the cheaper, but just as effective, store brand of acetaminophen. Honestly, I have an eGo knock-off that I got from madvapes. It looks like an eGo, vapes like an eGo, but didn't cost as much. The only reason I didn't go for the Riva from LF is because they were sold out and I needed something before I broke down and started analogs again.

Lite just means it's a small kit, "regular" kits usually come with a few more accessories.

As to the Riva being better than the eGo, it's really all subjective. Some won't buy anything other than the branded eGos, some are fine with the knockoffs, some prefer the Riva. I'd have to say that as far as reliability goes, it looks like they all have about the same, but branded eGos have a longer warranty.

The 510 models allow you to attach 510 attys with carts or 510 cartomizers. The 901 have their own attys and can be used with kr808d-1 cartos. Again, it's just a matter of taste. I prefer 808 cartos and use my attys to drip only occasionally. A lot of people here prefer to drip or use carts combined with the attys.

one more question, from what i have read the riva is a little bit better than the eGO so why is it much cheaper? and whats the difference in the riva 501 and the riva 901?

A lot of people like the Riva better - but it seems that there are a lot of complaints of them breaking in first 2 weeks - if they last longer then that - they will tend to last as long as the ego - thus be sure to get a guarantee (liberty flights has a 3 month)

The Janty/Joye ego came first - the riva is a knockoff - Also the ego is prettier - I have a green one and a blue one - you can't get blue or green Rivas

901 and 510 refers to the type atomizers that it is threaded for. I have never used a 901 atty but I here it is a cooler vape.

The difference I notice from most Riva kits is 1 regular atty and a LR atty instead of 2 regular atties. Most kits now days seem to have 2 cones included.

I have both and they are similar in performance. I don't see any difference in battery duration even though Riva's are 750mah and Ego is 650.

Riva has a better button IMHO, it is softer which gives it a nicer feel. I find the button is not as easy to accidentially press because of it's smaller diameter and rounded edges. The eGo button because it is bigger and has the corners, is easier to accidentially press in your pocket.

I would have to give the eGo the edge in finish. I am particular hard on the finish of my batteries. My car has a stick shift with metal at the top and I have my PV in my hand in the car a lot. My black Riva battery is about half silver now where the paint has worn/chipped off. The black eGo battery has some small chips in the finish which you can only really see if you look real close. Also, much of the gold band has worn off on my Riva so it is partially silver now.

Over all I think the quality is better in the Ego and IMHO is worth more then the Riva.

The difference between the Riva 510 and 901 is the connections and atties that are used. Also, the cone is shorter on the 901 version

liberty flights' prices simply cant be beaten from what i can see...i ordered the riva starter kit, a drip tip and 4 or 5 e-juice samples and it came to something like $45! thats just crazy seeing as other places are selling them for $50-80...

something else i was wondering...this is what the kit i ordered comes with

•2 x 750mAh Battery
•1 x 510 Atomizer - 2.2 ohm resistance
•1 x 510 Low Resistance Atomizer - 1.7 ohm resistance
•1 x USB Fast Charger
•1 x USB Mains Plug (US)
•10 x Blank Carts - e-liquid will be required to fill the cartridges, sold separately
•1 x Atomizer Cone

now i am new to all of this so bare with me :) i hear about cartomizers...from what i can gather they are cartridges and atomizers put together and allow you to put a certain amount in there so you dont have to drop 4 drips in at a time or something like that?? is that right...what is the real difference in having a cartomizer and a atomizer...personal preference it looks like...some say you get more flavor with one or the other...im just wondering if i should order some blank cartomizers...if i use a cartomizer, does that take the place of the atomizer and the cartridge? and can i use the drip tip i bought on both the cartomizer and atomizer? and another thing..this kit i ordered comes with basically 2 full working e-cigs? 2 batt's, an atomizer and then a LR atomizer...instead of being backups, couldnt they just be considered 2 seperate cigs? i ask this cuz i will give one to my mom if thats the case...i only smoke a pack a day right now, so im sure i wont need to take another battery with me anywhere as i have read that the eGO/riva have good battery life. sorry for the long post, but just need this cleared up for me. thanks!
