I've been vamping for almost three years now. Started out with a basic kit and experimented for awhile until I found the Provari about two years ago. I ran a carto tank for a long while and then switched to a nautilus about a year ago. When I started vamping I was at 24 on the mic level. I've slowly backed it down to 12- where I have been for about five months.

Lately I've noticed that I don't get the kick out of my setup that used to get. It doesn't have that same hit in the chest that I used to have. I'm not sure if my Provari is the culprit- as it has been acting a bit Squirrley lately, or if it's that I'm at half the mic level I used to be.

I've thought about getting a newer Provari- as mine is now randomly changing voltage, but don't know if I want to spend that kind of money again. I really don't want to go with a dripper, as I'm not really interested in wrapping coils. I guess I'm just looking for some advise on where to go from here. Wanted to see what other who have been gaping for a while have done. Thanks in advance!

Simple VW Box mod and tank. I had to drop my nicotine level down to a 6 as soon as I got a subohm tank. The nautilus is a really great starter type setup but honestly my buddy at work went and picked up a subox kit after being on the nautilus and was amazed how much better the flavor was. However my opinion of the subox kit is it seems cheaply made and I own one. For $15 more than a subox kit you could get a evicvtc 60watt with temp control & a uwell crown tank kit. The subox only does 50 watts no temp control and the uwell crown is a quality tank with lots of coils.

Maybe a box mod such as an Joye eVic-VTC Mini, or a dual 18650 such as a Sigelei 150W with a Sub Ohm Tank like the Kanger Subtanks, Arctic Tank, Smok TFV4, or Uwell Crown Tank. With the Kanger Subtanks you can have a coil range from .2ohm - .5ohm - 1.2ohm and 1.5ohm so you can still MTL if you want. The other tanks are Mainly Lung Hitters, but you can find some 1ohm or higher coils for them. Sorry I can't be more specific as im not sure what you need..

Provari's-They're dirt cheap now. Check some local vape stores also, if they have them they're probably trying to get rid of them. Seen them real cheap.
Still a good mod if you don't vape high voltage. Quality has been better since those first Vamos came out if you want to try something new.

You can get your ProVari repaired by ProVape inexpensively and keep it as a backup to the new superduper gear you're going to get. I do have higher powered box mods, but found am a "tootle puffer" at heart. All that power is wasted on me. :p May not be to you though. :)
