Where'd the flavor go?

So I picked up my first PV (Kr808) a couple weeks ago and I love it. The only downside was the battery life, so I ordered an eGo to try out. The Kr808 is great, good flavor & TH with moderate vapor production. I've had the eGo for a couple days now and while it produces tons of vapor, there is almost no taste.

I have several flavors and have tried them out on both and the eGo is consistently very bland. I know it's not my taste buds as this is a relative comparison between the 2 devices. I've tried HR and LR attys, tried cleaning them, with standard carts, with highping's cart mod, direct dripping...nothing seems to help. Any thoughts? I love the all-day experience of the eGo, but I'd really like to be able to taste what I'm vaping.

That thought passed through my mind. If the higher current of the eGo is making the atomizer hotter, it would explain the higher vapor content. I wonder if that extra heat is breaking down the flavorings though. Ironically, the vapor is cooler coming out of the eGo, since it has to travel back through the cart as opposed to being right there in the cartomizer. Perhaps the vaporized flavorings are condensing out in the cart before they get to my taste buds...

I haven't read about any significant taste discrepancies between the 2 models in other posts around here so the mystery remains, frustratingly, unsolved.
