I thought it might be fun & interesting to find out how some of us come up with our screen names. Mine is boring, 1st 2 letters of my name & you know where I live. But some of you have some real good ones. Thought it would be fun to know how you came up with it. Not all the threads have to be serious.

Sometimes I think that Gene Roddenberry picked my name out of a phonebook when he was having trouble coming up with an alien name for Star Trek. I just figured I would capitalize on that. Plus, I am Trouble with a capital T.

When I signed up for ECF, I thought it would be my login name, not my user name as well, If I knew I would have changed it

Mine is because my name is Rita. My middle name is Lee. Pronounce it "correctly" like my kin folk in Mississippi and it comes all together RitaLee. I am half redneck and half ....-..... LOL

Then, I was born in 1976.

It all makes sense now.....

That has been my name online since the old BBS back in the day. It has stuck.

Well, I live in the "Queen City" and I also love to play Texas Hold'em. When we play, my husband calls me Queen or "The Ladies" because I always seem to bust out a pair of Queens. lol It mostly came from playing cards.

I named myself after my former roommates cat. The cat was named after a character in some Shakespeare play, but I think it is spelled C-a-l-I-b-a-n. I didn't know the correct spelling (I'm totally NOT up on my Shakespeare) so I guessed. I have been using this name online, misspelled, for years.
