*Explination: This is the story line for Scorch the Clown. The entire Haunted House has a story to it that follows it through out. A "kill" is when one of us actors actualy scares a person so bad they fall to the ground (regular kill), wet themself ("wet kill"), soil themself (mud kill), etc. Last year they ahd to stop counting mine after the first 2 weeks of shows. It became to difficult to keep track of. I got a "wet kill" our first night, and one night I killed the same woman 10 times! She had paid to go in, but by the time I got done with her she couldn't even go in because she was so terrified. She would go to the ground crying in the fetal possition and I would then leave. Then when she got back up and rejoined her friends I would come up and get her again. It's funny because everyone in line was laughing and loving it, because it wasn't happening to them. It was extra funny because her husband was laughing his .... off at it and one of our other actors got him from behind and he litteraly jumpoed out of his shoes and took off running and swearing. BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!

Jealous doesn't even begin to describe what I am feeling...

Well, as I've said, when you are here, you are Scorch's guest and you can stand around all night either before or after you go through and watch the kills. We have people that come out for the haunted house and end up staying 4 hours to watch others get killed. They way we manage the line is we try to keep everyone in line a MINIMUM of 20 minutes to build suspense. We use excuses like "technical difficulties", "injured guests" (i.e. heart problems inside and the likes just to cause concern for those that haven't gone in yet), and stuff like that to really build up the show. Afterward going through, alot of people tend to stay and watch others, because it's just as fun as the attraction it's self.

The only thing you need to know is that I am not allowed to break character AT ALL from the time I start til after the cast is out of costume and going home. AFTERWARDS, if you had fun and would like to meet up for a nice adult beverage, ol' Scorch can relax a bit and not be SO evil.

Mine shows my deepest self.....and the hatred it holds for the hamburglar. Not because of his well known love of theiving cheap fast food burgers(he can have them all for all I care) but because he is my arch-nemesis.

I appreciate your candor in sharing your innermost self with the forum :D

Mine's a pic of my dog (and my leg) from when he was a puppy. When he was a puppy we still smoked in the house and he'd climb up on you and grab your cigarette in his mouth. My friend and I thought it was cute but we never could get a pic of it, so one night we were drinking and he was asleep against my leg (as you can see) and so we stuck the .... of a half smoked (unlit) cigarette in his mouth and an empty beer bottle on his tummy and took this picture. It still makes me laugh every time I see it. I thought it was fitting since when I joined the forum everyone had pics of smoking, vaping, or animals smoking.. Mine's just a real pic of an animal with a cigarette instead of a drawing

PR shot from the Canadian TV show Due South that was picked up by one of the US networks a few years ago. Seemed appropriate as I'm from up north and love animals.

NB

I LOVED that show. Paul Gross should have been cast as Superman, he has the perfect look for the part and did a great job playing the overgrown boyscout aspect of the role.
