I have been doing a lot of research and watching a lot of reviews on all kinds of APV's and am looking for a few vaping vets to help me out. I am looking to get a decently priced APV, of course i would love a provari, just not ready to dish out that kind of money. I have been looking at a few and have come across a few in my price range that seem good. As of now I'm looking at a Vamo V2 VV/VW or a Telescope, or one of the many like the actual Telescope. Suggestions appreciated

This is only from someone that owns a Provari and also 2 Vamo's. V1 and V2. I'd go with a kicked SB with a extension sleeve before I would another Vamo. Just my two cents worth but I'm not impressed with the vamo. I'll take the kicked SB and sleeve or a provari anytime. The Vamo is just a undenpendable piece of china junk. Sorry. IMHO. The kicked SB I got cost almost as much as the provari but I think will last twice as long. The SB is built like a tank. Not a fan boy of either just my opinion.

I have a stainless VAMO and I'm happy with it. I also have a Zmax that I'm happy with. I would buy the Sigelei Zmax today vs. the Smoktech I have for a couple of reasons. I might pick up a kicked telescope at some point but I prefer to have my controls out where I can get to them. I might get a SideWinder and kick it but I suspect that's out of the scope of your question.

Totally loving my Sigelei Zmax. Dropped it a few times. Works great. Dropped 4 ft on to ceramic tile. Cracked the tile. Zmax vapes on. Dropped 4 ft yesterday on to asphalt getting out of truck. Picked it up and still vaping. Wondering it I can run it over with my trash truck..

I have a Proveri, Vamo, eVic, and a Silver Bullet. Without the kick the SB is lacking. The proveri is very nice, but pricey, the eVic is great for my vape needs although I don't down load it often. The eVic weight is nice for carry purposes as it is the lightest of the bunch. THe Vamo works great, but is the largest of the bunch. I have not had any problems with any of them. I should be getting a "Anyvape CCVI" soon. For the money the Vamo is the best price and VW. PB review was very positive on the Vamo.

so either go with the Zmax or the Vamo from a US dealer for my price range? is that the consensus?

I would say those are probably best buys in your price range. Zmax has a longer track record but is also higher priced and has criptick menus.

I just received my Vamo and it is easy to use, but looks and feels cheap to me, thats ok though it is cheap. I also have 2 ProVaris and a Bolt. I almost feel like I should have bought another extension and a Kick for the Bolt rather than buy the Vamo, but the Vamo has become so popular I wanted to see how it was for myself. I have a feeling mine will be in the classifieds before too long, it just isn't for me.

To me this vw thing is over rated. I got a CVI to see what all the fuss was about. Seems most units(zmax, vamo,CVI,etc.) are using the same "chips" and function the same with different menus. I found the .5w adjustment to broad and eventually returned to vv for the .1v adjustments. Using 2.5 ohm's w/18650 batt. I didn't get anymore time on a charge than with my 1300 spinners. By the time I got the CVI, charger and two batt's($88) I could have gotten 3 1300mah spinners. Think I'll be sticking with the spinners.

I still just dislike the fact that when an eGo style is dead, its garbage. Too wasteful for my tastes. An 1100mah AW IMR is less than $12 and doesn't require throwing away the entire device. In the long run that $88 will actually save you money and reduce waste.
