Which batteries are actually protected??

I have ordered some 10440 Trustfire 600mah 3.7v that are supposed to be protected, but it does not say it is protected anywhere on the label. They are wrapped in gray plastic, and look like this:

how do I know it's really protected if it is not listed on the label? Does anyone have a list of reputable battery suppliers that are known for selling actually protected batteries?

i;m surprised it doesn't say but it looks like it is.if it wasn't the base would not have the indentation from where they placed the PCB.
