Which batteries should I buy & what reputable stores?

I'm going to buy a Nemesis, Caravela, or... [keep changing my mind] & haven't bought batteries yet. I know they are a VERY intricate part of the mod. Not sure if I'm going w/ 18650 or smaller, please help me out on which brand & where to purchase plz! I don't mind paying extra to #1 protect me & #2 protect my mod. I know everyone prefers different batteries but, at least I get a few choices for great & safe brands. Any other thoughts or things to bring me up to speed on batteries, much welcomed as safety is key

I put up a poll and the Sony VTC5 was the clear choice. Vapor DNA has them @ 3 for $30. I just picked up 6 and the shipping and a 15 ml bottle of juice was free.

the LG and the samsung aren't very known. you can likely get them anywhere they're available and be likely to get a good battery. the sony could possibly be faked due to popularity.

i, personally feel it's worth mentioning that i think the sony is over rated since it has a tendency to over heat when discharged at 2/3 of it's continuous capacity...

sony rates this battery at 30 amps continuous discharge and rates their lithium cells up to 60°C max.

i have the sony vtc5s, vtc4s, samsung 25Rs and aw 1600s on hand. in my opinion, i prefer the samsung cells over the rest. they tend to hold their voltage higher for longer and produce less heat within the cell under my use from my experience. all are great cells. can't really go wrong. though, i feel the samsungs are a clear winner. you can get them cheap from fasttech, too. would be convenient if you're planning on ordering your mods there.
