Sandy I've sent you a pm to read through.

Depending on how long ago you ordered your unit, you may still be able to change your order if you want to.

There is probably nothing much wrong with the supper mini, but as some have mentioned the cartridges are quite small, and the battery life is a bit shorter than the larger sized units.

The upshot is go with what you are comfortable with and feel is the most appropriate sized unit to carry around and use.

So Ok I'll geek--what's wrong with the super mini? Does it belch fire? Spit dog pooh? What?

I'm a gal! Call me superficial, but I really don't want to walk around smoking something that looks like an oversized Swisher Sweets cigar mouthpiece on one end with a neon light up it's .... on the other.

Can't these mini's be made to work? Somehow? If not why would this great guy (your words) be selling them at all?

Still, thanks for the feedback, g'friend--I may well take it--would just like to know why. :D

Hey Sandy

The BEST thing about Superminis is they blend right in. My wife tried to send me to the smoking room cause I was watching TV while using one. The least convincing is the pen-style, but you'll hear everybody saying their performance is the best (and everybody's right).

If you get a good Supermini they work fine. I have two brilliant models, Janty Yentl and Sedansa Nano2. They're very expensive though.

My cheapie Super e-Cigs work fine, but the mouth piece is plasticky and the carts taste butterscotchy. I keep four of them in the original box (looks like a cigarette pack) and they're brilliant in the pub. I hand them round and we puff away. Nearly started a riot a couple of times (and had the unintended beneficial side-effect of cleansing the pub of puritans).

Don't worry so much - you're gonna love this...

My experience with hte mini is that they indeed do spit fire and belch dog pooh. The cartridges only last a few cigarettes, and hte draw is quite hard to get any good vapor- but mind you, I've only tried two minis of hte same model, but from everythign I've gathered, quite a few others experience similar problems with outher brands.

I don't particularly like toting around a device like hte pen either, but I much prefer the convenience of longer lasting cartridges (I've gone as long as 430 full draws- the equivilent of 43 real cigarettes- but that was really pushing it- generally I get an average of 20-30 real cigg's worth out of one cartridge as compared to about 3-5 real cigg's worth from the minis I have. I have popped in a new cart this mornign at 11:00 and the Cartridge is still goign strong after near constant puffing. I don't go as long on the cartrridges anymore because I don't want to push things too far, so I'll top the cartridge off with my homemade smokin juice later this afternoon aroudn 3:00 or 4:00 p.m and do so for hte remainder of hte day- usually topping off about 5-10 times as needed as the refilling for some reason doesn't last as long as the prefilled carts do- not sure why.

The other negative experience I have with hte two minis is that again, they draw hard, and they heat up quick and they get super hot unless I baby the thing, which won't produce good vapor if I do that. The other hting is that it shuts off far too quick for my taste- aroudn six seconds of drawing on it which isn't nearly enough time for me, and hte unit blinks for 19 blinks, which takes too long for it to be ready again for another drag.

The battery life is ok- provided the battery is newish, but hte ones I have really start going downhill quite fast after a week+ of use

If you're concerned abotu hte looks, perhaps order two models, the super mini and either the mini or hte penstyle- the penstyle can do the heavy work at home, and the mini can be taken out in public (Although I carry both and just use the penstyle whenever possible as it gives much better vapor with less effort-)

and to be honest, my mini atomizers didn't hold up nearly as well as my penstyle ones- but again, I've only used one brand and can't comment on other brand's performance-

But how do you really feel about minis, Naz? ;)

Ok so I got it.

Am going to try to change my first order to the next size up or just bite the bullet and go with the ugly pen-- and also order a mini from the high priced guys Emp says have a good product. Both hubby and I need to quit so having two is not a bad idea anyway.

Anybody got a phone on ecig?

BTW am still looking for a menthol juice supplier????

Thanks again folks! REALLY! :thumb:

That;s just my experience with hte minis- others may have found soem that work wonderfully- my experience with hte one brand though stinks as far as I'm concerned. I'm not saying don't go with the mini- just givign a heads-up abotu my esxperience- As mentioned, the Janty seems to get good reviews, although I think they are severely overpriced, and I've not been too impressed watchign the few videos of exhaled vapor that are available of them on the net (But, I think those in the video were hte older models of Janty that had problems)

One other hting before making up your mind- Ratindahat (Dusty) on htis board has a video review of the spuermini from Myecig.com which looks pretty good- might wanna just watch that first- I don't know bout hte Myecig super mini, but hte video looked like it was pretty ok cigg for a super mini-

Eppufer.com is supposed to have soem limitted mint juice, and will be getting other flavors soon supposedly

Thanks guys--both of you! I just ordered a yentyl (sp?) kissbox with a spare atomizer and a few dozen cartridges.

We'll see how it goes. Actually it's not hugely more expensive and the USa site delivers in a few days!

Hopefully by owning two of these--of two types--both with spare atomizers--both that come with spare batteries--both are USA sites--I'll be able to have something to smoke.

Am also THRILLED at the spare juice connection--THANKS--and will get that ordered now too!

I will let you guys know how this all shakes out. So far am waiting to hear back to change my order--hopefully will hear back soon tho.

Ok so I go to ecig--they have the type I want--they call it a super mini--AND seems shipping is pretty quick--price is also not bad. But then I look further. NO #$%$# spare atomizers for sale for this product. Didn't you guys say I needed one? Everything I read suggests I do. <BIG SIGHS> How can I be sure that if I buy an atomizer on another site it will fit this model.

Also this "looks" to me like a re-sellers site. How do I know this person hasn't just got a "hobby" and will dump me when this product needs service--which it OBVOUSLY will.

Also when I put ecig into Google to search it up came 10 awful reviews. Do all these sellers have tons of awful reviews? Is this ecig product just not working well yet at all no matter what type it is?

Am I sounding REALLY stupid by now? <chuckles>

Help me Obi Wan E cig group! You're my ONLY hope!

Sandy

hi sandy

i'm new myself at e-smoking as i've only have had two devices.
the first was the mini-cigs they did't smoke to well and didn't survive long.
my second is like a super mini and smokes well, more like a real cig for $55 including shipping i can't complain. i'm getting a penstyle next wk. from another member who has to many. if you want to pm me i'll give you the website that i purchased from but from what i read in the forums
the kissbox ranks first, then meltrack penstyle "myecig.com" ranks second
seems the bigger the better.

Hi Sandy. Just wanted to make sure you saw this note on the Janty US site:
JANTY USA is open for purchases! Shipping however starts on 18 JULY!

I started with three different ecigs from three different suppliers and quickly added a fourth when an atomizer died. I still ended up one evening without any working ecigs. So, yeah, I encourage you to start out with a good stock of extras. :thumb:

Have quit twice with Chantix--3 months each time--despite the WICKED dreams--but then my BP crashes and I end up in the ER with chest pains and in shock
That does sound like other Chantix cases I've read about. It can cause heart attacks, seizures, fainting etc., plus the safest withdrawal takes weeks to months of ratcheting down usage otherwise problems can develop or intensify. I expect it to be pulled from the market eventually.

Now what?

Have gotten --count 'em--4 emails and one private message here from Benny at Myecig. Lots of congrats from him--but no exchange on the order.

Seems that part slipped his notice? Surely just an oversight, right? 8-o

I'd call but there's no phone number anywhere for such upstarts as myslef to attempt such outrageous behavior as contacting the merchant about an order by phone.:(

So I've written him --again--by email--and on PMessage here.

Anyone got a better idea?

Please tell me I don't have to do the "dispute on the credit card" thing. That's so gauche!! And such a royal pain in the .... when the order is still valid for him if he'll just switch the sizes for me.

There's also Pay Pal reject the order stuff to toy with--but then they keep records and I'd really hate to dis a guy right off the bat who will probably get this right--eventually.

Still, if I wait to long I lose disputing options.

Suggestions?

Anyone?

Sandy

Wow that's a bit harsh to say to me?
Don'cha think?

Sure he "could" deliver it to my door now. Who wouldn't want that.
But GEESH!
I didn't say I expected that!!!!!!!

Just that if he had time to contact me and write emails and private message to me 5 times about my payment--and on shipping-- that one of them "might" mention the much earlier previous email I wrote him--or the subject of my PM to him--which was to change the e-cig size on the order AS WAS SUGGESTED BY THIS LIST MEMBERSHIP.

Still, I guess I shouldn't have asked for a phone number or other way to contact him here first. I should just not bother to try to contact him and just dump the entire order on my card and refuse shipment. Maybe that's the better way. To let him "have a life"

But, silly me, I thought THAT sort of behavior would be harsh. <tongue in cheek>

I guess it's all in the way you look at things--and how thoroughly your panties are in a wad--or not. 8-o

Thanks for the help guys,

Sandy

Benny is absolutely the best. I don't understand your extreme impatience. This is Saturday. Some people might DO things on Saturdays.

Benny will satisfy you -- if that's possible. That will not be the case with many other sellers. They're almost ALL resellers, by the way. About 20 Chinese elves make everything in one factory. E-Cig buys from Loongtotem and sells to Crown 7, etc. True. If you wanted to, you could be branding and selling Sandy's E-Cigs next week!

Benny buys generic product which he then tests (other companies ship dead-on-arrival junk and want you to pay return shipping before they might consider replacing the flawed item). He charges the batteries before shipment, adds extra carts sometimes. When it arrives, it's ready to go. And it works.

Don't even get anyone here started on the crap produced from E-Cig in China, the complete lack of customer service, the pricey shipping, etc. And especially the need to buy about 10 of the same thing so at least one combination of battery, atomizer and cartridge will work.

Where's Trog when we need him?

Be patient. Benny will serve you.

(You must be from Clearwater Beach. I'm 100 miles south of you.)

cbeachinn.......hmm I just said that aloud...... try that folks.

Again Benny is a great guy, he will do anything to accommodate his customers.
He's very generous.
He will help you anyway he can.
He stayed up one evening till 2 am to charge the batteries that came with my e-cig.

Do not trash him here, he's a great guy and I will stand up for him because he deserves that.
That's all.
