If it is someone who don't understand it is an ecig.
My family says vape.
I only use mod if it is a mech mod.

I asked someone about their PV (it was a Lavatube) and she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to correct myself and say "E-cig" before she understood what I was asking about.

I have referred to my own as the brand (Evod, Provari) or "my vapor thing" when I can't think of the word...
