I'm trying to figure out what might be causing allergy symptoms I'm having w/ e-cigs. Am just starting 100% VG with decent results in the rash department, but still running into light-headedness, sinus reaction, headachey feeling, etc. Earthpig has suggested that some flavors like cinnamon can cause reactions in some people. Does anyone have a list or know of any other specific flavors or chemicals that might be problematic for some people? Maybe we can get a list going to help people with similar problems track down what they specifically need to avoid.

The basic answer is that there are as many reactions as there are ingredients. You have to find out somehow what it is you are intolerant to. One way is to use something that is known to be problem-free for a few days until you are clear, and then vape one extra liquid (and no other addition) for 5 days. Keep adding liquids one at a time.

Some may be intolerant to PG but in my view VG has the potential to cause more problems as it comes in various different types, which are impossible to identify even at the liquid aggregator/manufacturer level. One type of VG nearly put me in the hospital, but another is my full-time vape.

Obviously, things like cinnamon or capsaicin (chilli) will be too much for some people. The trouble with other flavors is that there are so many hundreds of variants it is very hard to pin down one that is causing issues. The only way to find 'safe' and 'problem' liquids, from your perspective, is to vape something absolutely trouble-free for several days, then start adding stuff in.

Roly is of course correct , but coming from someone that has a multitude of allergys , I can tell you I had the same questions in the beginning of my vaping journey.

I did the research and much to my surprise , found that all the things you are describing ( and more ) can be caused by smoking withdrawal.

I suggest before you jump to any conclusions that you do some digging on the web for the multitude of symptoms of smoking withdrawal , anything from short of breath , to headaches , to breakouts of achne even if you are 60 yrs old LOL> yes it does happen and is reported on ecf from people it happens to.

That is not to say that you dont have an allergy to something used in the ecig liquid , it is just a possibility that these things may be part of the actual smoking withdrawals too.
