Recently I've seen a big spike in any and all things copper. Is this the future of mods or is it only a current trend?

I don't see that many products in the way of Titanium. Does anyone want to venture on why this is so?

For me personally, the metal properties - weight, rigidity, and the magnificent colors of anodized titanium makes it far more appealing than copper.

So, all that said, which metal is more appealing to you and why?

I'm really surprised to see so few silver mods. Silver, not copper, is the best conductor, and it's jewelry quality. It would obviously be expensive, but we spend a lot on nice gear.

Threads need to be a little tougher, so I would like to see a mod with silver plated brass anywhere there is thread and pure silver elsewhere.

Construction is also a variable that people are leaving out though. A pure silver mod with poor construction (for example a loose switch contact or non-conductive thread coating) won't perform as well as a mod of less conductive material with good construction.
