I would love to get a Prodigy or a Chuck, etc. but I am so disillusioned with my 510's and 901's. To me, they have no flavor. I feel like I'm just sucking dry vapor with a little throat irritation. And I'm very reluctant to order a mod that uses an atty that has proven itself to be so lacking in flavor. Would the boost from 3.7 to 5 volt dramatically improve flavor? I've read several posts indicating 6 volt is a flavor killer.

KR808D-1, on the other hand, does deliver flavor!

But I don't want a 2-piece. I want a battery that will last me all day. Is there a battery mod that uses an atty which delivers strong flavor?

Suggestions? :?:

I can't speak for 901's as I've never used them, but 510's seem to do well at about 4.5v, and the 801's shine at 5v.

A 5v nicostick with a TI LDO regulator lasts me easily 1.5 days on a single set of 14500 batteries.

Yeah, this is the same as my experience. Just remember that 5v vs 3.7v will use more e-juice.

There are MANY mods available that can use the KR808d-1 Atomizer...There are even adapter for the Atomizer so you can use it on mods that Don't accept it...

Personally? When i starting Vaping...i couldn't taste anything for atleast the first month...maybe my taste buds were dead from all the smoking? But i've found that 3.7v delivers the best Taste for me(But i use a 901 atomizer)

Best to buy a couple CHEAP mods and see what you like...buy a 3.7v mod, 5v mod and a 6v anything...try um out...figure out which YOU like the best..them sell the other two on the forum

I find that I get my more flavor and vapor with my Chuck than on my Blu battery, even when using the same 510 atty. I think the battery voltage doesn't drop as much under load, but I can't really test that theory.

I've not used any attys other than the Blu ones and the 510s, but I know you can get adapters to go from 510 -> 801 or 510 -> 901 from altsmoke, I believe. So you could get/make any mod with a 510 socket and try all of them on it to see what works best for you, since it really is quite subjective. Along the same lines, if you are making the mod, you could use the RCA jack mod to test all attys much in the same way.

I've only used a 306A and a 801/Penstyle. I felt like the 801/Penstyle gave more flavor. Taste is too subjective of a thing to really speculate as to what you may find more flavorful than I. Many people who have tried various different atomizers have said that the 901 and 801 are a bit more flavorful, whereas the 510 gives more of a throat hit. I can't speak of the KR808D-1, as I drip, so never really thought about getting one.

Oh. Dripping, in my experience, will give you the best flavor, compared to carts. The first 4-5 puffs are the most flavorful, and it seems to taper down from there.

The suggestion of getting a 510 mod, and buying adapters for the various atomizers is a good idea. It will put the overall cost higher, but for a cheap price of just screwing on a different adapter and a different atty, that will give you a lot of flexability in trying different atomizers models/brands.

Rickghouse, You should try a 5V Mod with 801, It's great , lot of vapor, Flavor and TH.

I've been using the 510 and M401 over 4months now, after making few 5V Mods for my 510 & 401, I found that 5V is too much for them, would constantly get burnt taste, heard ppl recommended 801 so I order few 801's adaptor from Nerf and 801's atts at RMV, tried on my 5V Mods and I love it so much, haven't touched the 510 since I put the 801 in my 5V Mod , almost a week now( I used a 18650, PTN4050C, direct dripping, The batt lasts me whole day heavy vaping).

5v is the sweet spot for flavor and throat hit. IMO

510 and 801 are great attys at this voltage.

Remember that the JUICE itself makes a huge difference and not only the PV you are using, but I must say I do not like 3.7v vaping. 5v Rules!
