I recently started vaping and went with the Joye 510. For the most part I am happy with my choice. My only issue is that I am getting very little throat hit. Granted, I'm still a newbie with just barely a months worth of vaping experience under my belt, so it could be something else is the problem.

However, if anyone knows of a mod with killer th, I'd love to know about it.

Thanks in advance to whoever helps out!

you need to factor in the voltage, liquid, atty etc...

if you wanted to vastly improve your throat hit, try an LR Atomizer on your 510.

Try an LR Atty on any 3.7 or lower device...

OR get a 5 or 6v Mod...

Certain liquids pack more punch... so far, the two liquids I have tried that pack the most TH are TV's and VB's Atomic Cinnacide/Cinnabomb and Happy Vapor's Death Juice.

Normally TH is thought of in terms of the power of the vapor upon inhaling into your lungs. In this context, there are 2 things that deliver more TH: 1)The base liquid-PG, as opposed to VG and 2) the amount of nicotine in your liquid.

Higher voltage PV's, as many mods are, deliver more vapor and can intensify the TH, but not without considering one of the two above in context. If you vape with a higher % of VG based liquid, your TH isn't more intense, just the amount of vapor produced. So, it could be said VG is a softer hit than PG, no matter what the voltage is.

I for one think that HV mods produce more vapor than say a 510 or eGo given the same PG/VG ratio in the liquid.

Hope this helps.

You've got good harware until you are ready to step up to your batteries actually lasting longer. However, it would help if we knew what nicotine mg you are vaping now.

My first thought is to tell you to up your nicotine but I don't know where you are and don't want you to try some 36mg or more straight until we know where you are. Also bear in mind that although the bottle is marked the same mg as another, as I think you have discovered, flavorings can also factor your TH.

Another factor to consider is the VG% as it will soften your TH. I used to only use about 8mg nicotine but because I like a ton of vapor (30-40% VG) I went up on my nicotine to 12mg in order to still get the TH I wanted.

Sounds perfect! Thanks very much to all of you for your assistance!

Edit: I've been using mostly 16mg.

This is what I'm vaping:

Vaporrenu French vanilla double shot, aggressive th, 16mg nic, 80/20

Vaporrenu bubblegum medium th, 16mg nic, 60/40

Traditional wisdom says the first should have better th, but that just isn't the case
