Hello been vaping and smoking for a year but really consistanly vaping for bout 2 months with no cigs. What got me was the tank/cart. can actually feel the nocotine now. Im trying to get a better/stronger vap. So im in the market of getting a mod PV. something in the smaller range 3-4.5inch. currently using a ego-t 900mah 510.
I have a couple units in mind. provari mini, glv mini, and mvari mini. Just curious if anyone has tried these units and if there worth the price tag? any info would be helpful. my main use of this unit would be when im out and about. dont really vap at home. thanks

I assume the mvari is a mini lavatube, in which case it's a bit bigger than you might be looking for. The mini is smaller than the normal (Which I own) but it's rather thick. It's a little uncomfortable in the pocket.

Provari is a good choice, kinda expensive imo.
GLV mini has some good words said about it by grimmgreen and others.

I'd recommend a small mechanical mod, like these.

Altsmoke alpha
Puresmoker Icon
Puresmoker legacy (Mini of course)

But that's just me, don't limit your options. Also the new puresmoker legacy can be used with the kick, which is variable wattage. VW is considered better by most people, check it out on youtube.

I have 2 GLV Super Mini's, and a Provari mini. The GLV's are 3.7 devices and not VV (variable voltage) I do use the GLV everyday as I also use my Provari mini daily. So depends on what you want, if you are happy with 3.7 and low resitance cartos, the GLV SM is great. If you want variable voltage to vape at higher volts, the Provari mini is what you need. You have more options on the Provari hands down. They use 3v SR cartos. You can put a tank on any of them. I think you GLV will need an extention. I use a 510 to 510 on mine anyway to save the threads. bnrk

IMHO you need to look at the variables w/ ecigs and decide what fits your needs. Things to look at would be the battery size, overall size, range in voltage or wattage, feeding options and budget. Determine which of these are most important to you and base your purchase on your answers.

Also decide if you like the technology of the ProV, the versatility of some of the less expensive VV or fixed voltage models or the durability of a sturdy mechanical mod.

Best of luck in choosing! Best part is that you can always change your mind and try something new if your first pick doesn't work. Maintain an APV well and many of them will hold a good percentage of their value if you want to try something different.

so I decided to jump the gun to a more quality unit. Got the provari mini today, at my local vap store. build quality seems really nice on this unit. heavy/sturdy and just seems like a well built unit. I also tried the glv unit but decided to go with something where I can adjust the voltage. So far im pleased with this unit. something I noticed with the provari compared to my ego-T unit is the consistency of my vap. The ego-T would vary from a good hit to a weak hit. So far the provari always hits at a consistent hit all the time. Just a lil worried bout taking such a unit outside and possibly dropping it.

Congratulations! I know what you mean about dropping, I made a simple wrap for mine out of thin suede with a thumb loop so I would not drop it. I also take my GLV or G6's when out an about. I don't want to loose my Provari! LOL bnrk
