I'd get this one. It measures TRUE RMS which is important if you want to test voltage on most VV and VW mods. Many if not most VV/VW's use something called PULSE WIDTH MODULATION. A regular DC meter will not show that. DIGITEK DT-2844R True-RMS Auto-ranging Digital Multimete - - Amazon.com
FYI i have this on my wish list to get in a few months right now all I have is a Fluke 115 meter which is not true RMS.

If you want something to help hold your attys while you're building them, there are several places that sell an acrylic stand. I don't have one, but I've seen them all over for 3-4 dollars.

You can also pick up a cheap one at a hardware store for 10-15 bucks. If all you're using it for is checking RBA Resistance and batteries, then you don't really -need- a fancy one.

But if you can afford it, the one that steved linked looks pretty good too.

1. omnimeter (ohm and volt meter)

Omnitester - RTD vapor

2. multimeter (what can this do or check? ohms and volt as well?)
Amazon.com: Mastech MS8268 Digital AC/DC Auto/Manual Range Digital Multimeter Meter: Industrial & Scientific

3.
ohm meter + volt meter

i mean, im trying to get into RDA and RBAs, so which of these three option (or mix) would be the best ? i prefer a deck to build over as well

If you're just looking for something to check your attys before you fire them, then any old multimeter will work fine. You can use them to check your batteries and everything, that's why they have the dial on them, for different settings.

There are a few e-cig shops that sell acrylic display stands for your attys that would work well for building on, and they're only a few bucks apiece. If you got a couple of them, you wouldn't have to have your old attys laying around anywhere, they could be stood up for showing off. Mine are all laying in a repurposed ashtray. This ashtray was on my desk for 15 years...can't bear to part with it.

The multimeter that I use, I got from the local hardware store for 13 dollars. Works just fine.

Have one other tester you may want to look at. I have this one along with a multimeter. Just be warned if you over tighten some mods to test voltage you may damage the voltage tester side. Had to return one. The second one works great. OH the volt tester part of this will not test a lot of VV and VW mods because they use a Pulse width modulation and you need a more expensive TRUE RMS meter to test them. The Omnitester
