I really like the pico myself. I cannot speak about the subox as I never used one, but I have a couple of the pico 75s. They are hard to beat. It has higher wattage than the subox, and it has bypass mode which is a nice feature to have on a starter mod. And if you want to get more technical with it later down the road, you can upgrade to artic fox firmware and have tons of customization options.

Which ever one suits your needs.
Personally, I'd go with a Pico 25 so I could use larger tanks, or the Pico 21700 for the larger tanks AND larger battery ;)

Better in what way(s)?

this is the ultimate question, to the OP, what are you wanting to do with it? are you looking to cloud chase or flavor chase, are you looking for drippers or tootlepuff mouth to lung?

honestly though, for the price the pico's are the better mod. kangers are lower powered and less refined in their chips, especially where TC is concerned. and they havent released a 2x700 kit that i know of.

Agree with Grim, the Pico is shorter but the kbox is smaller in width. The RBA included with kanger is nice for down the road and the tank is better. I like the 510 pin in the kangers more too, the pico is very short with not much movement compared to most mods so tanks with long pins make a gap and don't screw down all the way (you can buy a 0.5mm spacer for .50c). I'd base it on his shorts pockets lol, if they are deep and skinny get the kbox if they are shallow and wide get the Pico :)

I haven't been a fan of Kangertech, but I drop my vapes a lot. I briefly had one of the newer picos and I wasn't a huge fan and ended up selling it. I liked the mod, but not the tank it came with and well, it just wasn't my thing.

I'd say select your mod and topper rather than going with a kit, personally, but either would be a decent first choice for a first kit, and if you want to go lower wattage, the pico is nice and small, and does have one removable battery to charge, and I do prefer that to internal battery mods. Since I know almost 0 about the Kangertech, I can't really say one way or another. I don't use them because they're a bit fragile for my tastes. But ultimately go with the one that appeals to you, and depending on how you like whatever you choose that will help you decide which direction to go next . It is somewhat rare these days with so many options to land on the "perfect setup" on one's first try, although if wanting to quit smoking, you really should have a backup vape anyway ,so choose one and try it and see what you like/do not like about it and etc.

Hi and welcome. The Subox feels better in my hand, and comes with a better tank. The Pico is cheaper and a generation newer with better electronics. I recommend the Pico for people who have a pretty good idea what they want in a vape, and the Subox for those who are still searching the different vape regimes to discover where their personal vape lies due to the better selection of coils for the Subtank and the availability of an RBA adapter.

Bottom line: you make the call ;)

As far as 22mm sub ohm tanks with RBA heads the Sub/TopTank is still one of the best available. Most stuff moved on to 24+mm but I'd still be using mine if it was a 2ml TPD tank or something much shorter. The flavour from it and the Lemo 2 are still the best I've had and I have a ton of stuff, the 2ml In'Sane RDA/RTA in my pic isn't as flavourful and/but its only 34mm tall.
