question on the Helios, which is not really on my want list at this time..
those allen screws -- being so small I would think they tend to strip out easily, I work with tools that use them and don't like there durability, usually the allen wrench rounds out first, but I can imagine the screw itself stripping and I'll never get the screw out of the post if this were to happen.
What do you think?
We ......'s get the USA version of the Helios. 20130803_100522 (1).jpg

actually, my helios did come with allen screws, and i am starting to have issues with one of them stripping. i've been looking for slotted or phillips screws to replace them, but i haven't been able to find any with the right threading (damn metric screws...)

anyways, i ordered mine from okc right when they first put it up on their website. it's definitely a us version (it has a stamp that says so and the us version airholes), so not sure if it's been updated to come with phillips screws, or if okc's just come with allen screws.

just a pointer.... on the trident if you have issues grabbing the drip tip and twisting the cap around to match up a different air hole size, make sure you have done the following if you're having issues...

1.pull the drip tip out and make sure the o-ring is wiped off and dry of any juice and the hole it goes into as well.
2. pull the actual cap off the trident and make sure the 2 o-rings that are on that are NOT totally dry (so it can twist rather easy)
or you can do what I did and remove the top o-ring, leaving only the bottom one, which will reduce effort and friction of having to realign to a new air hole. You only need one of those rings anyway really....

if you have issues after that, then the only thing left is that you didn't snap that cap on straight and its a hair crooked.

may i throw in a suggestion?

ERA by Budz Worx

it is smaller than what is being suggested, and is not a 22mm atty.
Mine is bottom fed compatible, and i also upgraded to the AFC cap.
the AFC can be opened up to go from an insanely open draw, to completely shut...
it has 6x 0.9mm air holes. which are completely hidden, even when full open.

the smaller chamber is a bit of a tight squeeze, but i can still make dual coil builds even with my stubby fingers while on the couch.

The total price may throw back a lot of people, but i have yet to use an atty that puts as big a smile on my face.

This is it on my 18650 Caravela.

I've got 3 of them but I don't twist.
When necessary I just pull the whole top off and line it up where I want it- replace.

I guess if I wanted i could twist since none of my drip tips fit loose.

How about the immortalizer?

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

I have the Immortalizer (real one) and i go to it over my Helios simply because it is a more flavorful vape and still puts out the vapor. The Immo. is a more cooler vape than all of the others so if you are not a fan of a cooler vape than this RBA is/may not be for you.The way the airflow works is the reason for the cool vape. There are replacement parts readily available for the Immo. at Electronicstix, they have replacement ceramic insulators with both screws ports in tact $15,and just the ceramic insulator $10.They also sell the Immortalizer with the black chrome outer case, wish they sold just the black outer case instead of having to purchase the same RBA again to get a part from it.If you go this route with this RBA you will NOT be let down you will enjoy it.

I don't own a patriot but i do have a trident, and imo it was a waste of money.

Dont get me wrong it vapes real good producing mad vapor, but the juice leaks. Even if you have the other hole covered, it slowly leaks. So you either need to vape all the juice inside before putting it down, or you have to make it stand upright.

I only use this atty for dual coils now, since my other atty has only 1 airhole. But i'm not a big fan of warm vapor or light air draws so my trident gets barely used.

i have both but ended up selling my trident. Patriot just looks better IMO. Vapor production just depends on how big the air holes are and the build. The trident does not leak btw, it just depends how you have you build set up and how wet the wick it.

I use microcoils with cotton wicks and I like to leave a bit of juice in the juice well. The trident does leak btw, it just depends how you have you build set up and how wet the wick it.

Maybe YOUR Trident leaks.

Sounds like you need to increase your cotton. Experiment until you find the right amount that works.
Every single youtube video I've seen shows just a slither of cotton being used.
I thought to myself.......self........what if you cover the entire well with cotton?

This is a setup I posted a couple of weeks ago. Juice had been added secs before taking the pic to try to show how much cotton is in there.
This setup works fabulously for me and means I drip every couple of hours instead of every couple of minutes.
