Hi guys. I always ask questions here cos your really helpful. It seems my last question about heavy lung will be resolved when I don't drip all day every day. Because of this, it seems I need an rta and get back to some mouth to lung hits. I have a few (subtank, lemo, etc...), but they all have glass tanks and I need something stronger for when I'm at the pub (bar), or just out and about. I need something cheaper than an expensive kayfun. Is their anything cheap you would recommend or is delta II my best bet? Thanks guys

Say what you will about clones, but that's a $40 Kayfun V4. Works great for me. It's made by Ehpro.

Before you jump...a "safe" and strong RTA may be lousy in result. Many RTAs have replacement glass tubes. For all day, I still like the Lemo. I keep an emergency kit in my car, maybe that is wise.

I am liking the SQuape R and it is pretty tough looking. Maybe you should stop hitting flyballs with your RTA??? :)

lol. No i'm cool but if i'm going out for the weekend I don't want to take replacement glass in my pocket, and one beer too many, I will drop that lemo! That kayfun does look nice, I got a tobeco one but i'v recently decided against clones because I can't find out if those decent clone companies (ehpro, hcigar, infinite, tobeco) use safe ss and stuff. Does anybody know how I could check?

I've yet to experience any rust or corrosion on my Chinese made attys. If you're looking for inexpensive and not Chinese, this will be more difficult to recommend something.

Some non Chinese attys that are under $100:

Gus Aiolos t
Atmistique Eviva-t
You might find something used in the classies

Chinese, but not clones:

HCigar HC Plus. Plastic or SS tank
eXpromizer with plastic or SS tank. Its German, but machined in China.
Aqua SE uses plastic or SS tank. Korean, but made in China

There are many high end attys that don't use glass:

Gus Estia or Phenomenon
Erlkonigin
Rose v2
Ubertoot, if you can find one and are willing to pay through the nose
Ataman II
Nectar
Urba
Le Magister
Kayfun 4
Prometey

Thanks for all those @roxynoodle. I'll have a look throughout the day. Just been trying out my lemo. I like it. Do they sell steel tanks for this yet? Also, most things are made in china so that's cool. It's just clones that i'm worried about. When something retails for £100 and they sell for £15. I wonder what they have used. I know its a huge mark up for the legit but even so... Thanks again

Close to slave labour.

If I can ask:
Why are you concerned about the quality of the SS/Glass? What happened to worry you so much?

Cheers

Stop with the slave labor remarks. That's a discriminatory lie.
China isn't a third world country.
They make iPhones there.

It costs a lot less when a major factory makes something rather than joe machinist in a garage shop.
Also helps when they don't pay janitors $30 an hour, or expect a 2000%
Markup.

For the OP:
$17 Kayfun V4 clone

1:1 KAYFUN V4 Clone - 88eVape

Call or email them for info on the manufacturer. They are legit and reputable.

No SS tanks for the Lemo.

I guess I don't see why an HCigar clone would use lessor materials than one of their authentics? Just using them for an example. Or, say, the Lemo which is Chinese and inexpensive.

There's a good chance that no matter what you buy, the steel may have come from China.

Nothing yet, thankfully. I worry that ss that isn't food grade is not cool to inhale constantly. I would have liked to think that my moral compass obligates me to buy official, but I think a $17 kayfun buys and sells my morals. Cheers guys

1. Stainless steel is safe at the low thermal levels we vape at.
You should worry more about inhaling yummy oxidation from your coils.
And yes, avoid inhaling stainless steel of any grade.

2. Morals?
Lol
Check out the history of the Kayfun/Russian/ Kayfun and peep the $200 price tag then come tell me about SM's morals. The authentic v4 is an improved clone of an improved clone.
;)

I see what you are trying to say, but the Kayfun is really not a good example.

At any rate......Try this:

Orchid V4s are impossible to get and sold out, so buy a quality clone without worry. The authentic manufacturer has moved on to the next generation.
(Btw, the authentics are basically a very much improved version of the Kayfun design right down to the threading).
Then buy stainless clone Kayfun tank sections ( yes, you can buy just the parts) and assemble. (yes they interchange).
Bam!
Solid stainless tank, awesome performance, no moral issues, not hurting any authentic manufacturer, and keeping costs under $30.

Perfect for hard use and abuse.

I do love my Orchids I will not lie but the Silverplay is a much nicer deck and also screws right under the K4 tank.
