Which vape system?

Hi, fairly new to vaping. Haven't smoked cigarettes in over a month. It's a.miracle. I love vaping, it's made quitting cigarettes so easy. I've been trying out different flavors, had a sore throat issue which has resolved. Yay!!! (Started on an Innoken T18) easy to use works great. I want to purchase a back up in case this one dies I 've been doing some research. There's a ton of different systems. I like this pen style 510 battery. Should I just buy another T18 or do you all have a different simple system that you recommend. Seems like most people have mods (which I know zero about) I just want to say this forum is so great. Congrats on your vape journey!

eGo One with the CLR coils are quite popular. When you're ready you can rewick/ recoil the atomizer. These are mostly Mouth To Lung tanks. Nautilus Minis have also been a standard for beginner vapers for years.

I agree, buy another one of those, if it ain't broke don't fix it. You'll know when you're ready for a box mod. If you keep going down this rabbit hole you'll continue to investigate this forum and end up with a box mod, or you'll hang on the fringe of the hole and get satisfaction from what you've been using. Both are right, the only wrong answer is picking up the cancer sticks. And really that's not wrong just unhealthy.

If what you have "works great and is easy to use", and you just want a back-up, sounds like another T18 is the answer. However......

You also state you are trying different juices. Sounds like you have some you like, but are still looking for something that might even be better. Since you asked for suggestions for "different simple systems", sounds like the same may apply to your gear. If so, this would be the time to try a different mod/tank and relegate the one you like less to back-up use. Better yet, since you like different juices, have each set up and ready to go when the desire hits.

I'm not familiar with the T18, so I'm not qualified to suggest something similar. But I believe there are a number of choices that fit the bill. Maybe a trip to a vape shop where you can see and handle some would give you a better perspective on your choices. Then, if you still have question, stop back and ask for specific comparisons.

The T-18 is a great beginner set up...
another great tank is the Aspire Nautilus mini.. it's a classic.. it's what made me quit cigs, there is a new version called the Aspire Nautilus 2 it just came out. You can purchase the tank alone or you can get a kit with the Zelos mod with it.
Here are my suggestions for the next step.

Spoiler.... # 2 is the best option

1) if you want to keep it simple get the Nautilus 2 / Zelos kit

2) if you want a set up that will be able to have more versatility as far as options in the future, get the Nautilus 2
And a Eleaf Pico mod = (battery) the Pico is a small but powerful mod that can handle a wide variety of tanks that you may grow into in the future...

18650 battery - $10 -12

Many tanks have come and gone in my collection but the Nautilus mini after 2+ years is still in use today in my rotation. I am planning to get the N2 as well.

That thing on the T18 with the firing button on it is a mod, a tube mod. It is "regulated" in that it has protection circuits that do things to protect you from problems, the most important being from allowing the battery to discharge too quickly which can cause it to overheat and possibly catch fire. A box mod is simply a mod with a different shape.

The reason most of us go with a little better mod is the ability to adjust the mod's output. Those are called "variable regulated" mods. So now we can by pushing buttons send more or less power to the coil. That effects both the amount of vapor and its taste. These also usually come with temperature control option meaning now you can set the temperature of the coil and let the mod adjust the power to keep it consistent.

You purchased a "kit" in that it has a mod and a tank (the thing that holds the juice & coil & you suck on) designed to go together. Many people purchase these separately because more than the mod the tank's design greatly influences the amount of vapor and taste. You just have to be careful to ensure they are compatible electrically with each other. Even your mod will accept different tanks and your tank can be used on different mods.

Everyone has an opinion of what tanks and mods work best for them and those opinions are more often different from one to the next. It really comes down to what you are interested in and what you are willing to spend on it. Purchasing any of the popular designs will normally give you good results.

So I've been looking around the internet and there is option overload. Lol. And no one to really ask, so I brought my questions to all of you, (the experts)

I live in a country that has one smoke shop selling a couple of ecig look-a-likes and that's it. Their eliquid selection all has tobacco flavoring. The web's offerings are what I rely on and the folks here are more than happy to make recommendations. The more you learn the better able you are to be more specific in what you're looking for and therefore the better the recommendations.

I totally understand being "very rural!" I make a 200 mile round trip to visit my favorite shop every month or two when we have other needs to go to "the city." As well, the "option overload!" There is so much available today that one's personal preferences becomes more important.

No real difference between tube and mod, just the shape. If you want to maintain approx. 14w for atomizer suggest an Eleaf Istick or any variable wattage battery.

Lots to learn, rather steep learning curve to begin to understand all there is to vaping with so many choices out there it is overwhelming. I would say stick with what you got since it works do some research and in time get yourself something that doesn't have internal batteries. Not necessarily bigger and better but just better. You maybe get 6 months out of a hitter with internal batteries depending on how you vape, lot longer if your just replacing the batteries and recharging separate batteries. Reading and research with some trial and error is what vaping is till you find your nitch and go from there. I may have started rebuilding within the first month I began vaping but it took me 2 years to get into DIY juice and with both rebuilding and DIY, my vape experience has been great.
I had nowhere to get advice or supplies but google and ECF when I started vaping so learning alone and making it work for you can be accomplished.
There is no stupid question other than the one that isn't asked....enjoy your journey.
