Ok..I admit it..been vaping 6v for about a month now and it really is awesome..but like everyone else standard 901 atomizers are lasting about a week at best. I'm still runnin' my GGTS w/AFSv2 and looking to try either a LR 901 atty w/18650 battery or VH901 w/6.0v. Wondering which direction to go? Before everyone tells me to just use a cartomizer, I know it solves the voltage issue somewhat, but tried that and I just can't go with the nasty filler taste...sorry.

I'm also leaning more toward the LR solution just because I won't have to switch batteries too often, but not sure on how well the LR stands up to tank abuse in the AFSv2? Info on atty life and vapor production/TH would be appreciated?

Also I looked on VK and didn't see any Iattys? What's up with that or did I just miss them?

Wolf my friend, I have been running the LR901 Atty's in the tank for a while now, the performance is awesome and my LR901 Atty's have been lasting for a long long time, I just got 25 more of them I like them so much I stocked up. Drew over @ NHaler.com has some Banging LR901's that put out plumes of vapor and they have a great taste with 901. These Attys seem to run Hot on regular units like an Ego but in the tank with liquid surrounding them they are just perfect buddy. The HV really takes away from the flavor in my opinion. I also like the newer AW 18650 2600 mAh Batts they seem to last a nice time and are a safe Batt to use. So if you want an opinion from a person that always has a GGTS in his hand there you go Wolf

If your trying to get on the vape train on the cheap... Then I would get cartos, You can get 5 cartos for $9 bucks or $1 buck depending where you go... Its alot cheaper and it actually ( when done right... as in not like me killing the cartos ) make more flavor and vapor @ 6volts... Thats what I'm doing to save money and spend more money on quality liquid...

I mean if you buy 50 cartos for $63.50 shipped ( thats $1.27 each carto) thats alot of cartos to burn thru before you need to order more... That leaves you with some extra cash for quality liquid

this is only if you constantly use your AFS or AVS like myself... I dont drip

Yeah, I hear ya, I like the cartos.....But not as much as my Joye 302 (Penstyle) atty at 6 volts... Cartos dont have the flavor at 6 volts...but like ya said, if your buying quality liquid, then it may be a dif. story.

As far as price, yes, cartos are the way to go, if your worried bout price.... without a doubt, the most reasonable way to vape as far as money go's

Rip, what do ya do with your cartos for AVS, drill a hole?

If something changes we will be here to discuss it of course Tim. But if 6 or 7,2 volts have bigger hit and bigger smoke and doesnt drain the battery so much like the LR atty does I dont see the reason for a change. Mwa has a totally different experience of course. I dont know what to say.

Ahhh...the eternal debate...:) I'll letcha know my vote on the LR's once I get mine. I'm still leaning towards that end because of the 18650 battery. I actually left the house with my 6v setup the other day by mistake and halfway through the trip to town, the batteries died...so then I'm in town for 1.5 hrs with nothing to vape. The good news is I didn't resort to buying a pack of smokes...LOL! But I'd really like the vapor and hit with the security of the 18650 behind me. I don't even think about batteries most of the time...I just switch them out in the morning and just go. Also as I stated in the original post, cartos are just out for me...don't like the filler taste and it's just a pain to have to drill them even though I have all the equipment and such.

We'll experiment with the HV attys next, if the LR's don't work out well, but I'm still crossin' my fingers!

To speak the truth I cant get taste of an LR atty. 6 volts and 7,2 are the best for me. Huge kick and huge flavor.

I wondered, if someone mentions 7,2V - that's what I prefer. LR on 3,7 isn't bad - but VHV-Vaping is even better! Atties live one or two weeks, bad enough. But vape and flash are the best for now...

greetings
