You know what you really ought to do, if they're that far out of spec and plated with the wrong material: reject the whole lot, withhold payment, send them back to be reworked or replaced.
Naturally, we'd all kill you if you actually did a thing like that, of course.

That scooter is one I scratch built...Finished in '01....Traded straight up on my 98 Springer Softail...Got that one with 2900 on the dial...Like new then and better now...I need pics of it..

I thought that was Dennis from the easy rider. My last Harley from a long line of them was a 75 dresser....well I undressed it alittle but when I seen that soft tail Heritage with a springer I sold mine and said until I can get one of those then I'll have another but not until.
They are sweet. They look like a back breakin hardtail but they ride like a roccking cchair.

Man alive!!! I've been typing my azz off all nite....On the 75 Dresser...She's a Shovelhead...Now I got a long love affair with a shovel...It's a hemispherical combustion chamber engine as is a Panhead.Now I got deep roots with Mopar so you know I love a 426 Hemi...Those Shovels and Pans sound waaaayyyy better than an Evolution or Twin Cam. Matter of fact the chop up there is Shovel powered...by S+S...I could have had an Evo for a little less dough...I stuck with what got me there.I'm riding an Evo now however....Previous to the custom build I had a 77 dresser...I stripped everything but what kept her running....Faded 4/5 blues into 3/4 purples and hired the mack daddy airbrush man to add Merlin and some dragons.....She was super fat...I got pics in 35mm..Need to get them transferred...When the stars align I plan another custom rigid build...This time she's gonna be powered by that S+S p-Motor...Thass right Panhead.......First class in my book..
