JUST saw this post. I think Springfield is about 6 or 7 hours from me...no way I could make it. Stand strong for us!! Thanks to everyone who is going. Wish I could join you all. I will make my calls bright and early though. Sick of IL wanting all my money and trying to keep me from vaping just to try to ensure the revenue of the carcinogenic analog going to line pockets. I think I'm moving. (I really do wish) Thanks again to all of you who will be rallying for us fellow vapors here in IL and elsewhere in a few hours.

Good luck V4L crew! As a long time(36 year) former resident of IL & Crook County(well I presently work there too), I have some idea what you're up against. Quinn seems like a levelheaded dude. Fingers crossed...

If things go south in IL, you might wanna consider NW Indiana...its like living in the Chicago burbs, without getting taxed up the ..... Well Gary, Hammond, and Merrillville can be a little sketchy. Hopefully it won't come to that though!

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Advocates of electronic cigarettes aren’t allowing their chosen alternative to tobacco to become contraband in Illinois quietly.

The Illinois Senate passed legislation that would prevent the sale of the battery-operated e-cigarettes with little attention last month. That changed this morning in a House committee to consider the legislation, SB3174.

Hopefuly, JustJulie will come by and fill us in on some of the details - they have some great stories! They called me after the meeting and sounded pumped, excited and hopeful!

The job is not done yet - there is another meeting next week. And then we have to take our fight to New York!!
