Who else hates knowing your package is delivered but is too big for the mail box......

Just want to say how much I hate getting a package and it's too big for the mail box so you have to wait one extra day to go to the post office and pick it up. Why does Canada post not just drop it off at the post office same day!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways guess one more day won't hurt..........

That's a bummer. Our U.S. postal delivery just lays it on top of the brick mailbox structure. I'm happy with that on a sunny day. When I had a mailbox on a pole, they'd leave a note to pick it up the next day at a certain post office. Yes, that was a problem.

Same here....it is a good thing and a bad thing.....I love that I don't have to wait for my package, at the same time I worry about someone coming and grabbing it even though I am off the road a bit. Once I had the Purolator guy just leave a $700 iPhone sitting on my front step, even though I needed to sign for it....I looked at the tracking info later and it was apparently signed for by my front door

just so you know mine always says pick up tommorow and i always pick it up the same day , they will usually give it to you early

I, like Wood, usually go same day, just before they close so I know the last truck has come in. That way if they have it they give it to me. Generally they don't even leave the card here until the next day but I know the PO ladies so we always get them anyways.

Not in my CP world. If I show up without a card, or before the stated pick up time on the card, I get nothing but attitude from clerk! Postal Nazis I tell you!!!!

I missed a package on Sat and it said I can pick up on Tues (had to wait an extra day due to Memorial Day holiday). Not sure why he could not leave it but even so, I was HOME and he could have knocked on my door....*sigh*
