Who has been vaping the longest?

It seems that the majority of members here that I have seen have been vaping for a relatively short time. Anywhere from a few days to a month or so.

I am just curious as to how many members here have been vaping for at least 6 months? I am interested in how many people stick with vaping and stay off the analogs long-term.

I have been vaping for over 2 years, since the original ruyan model.

somewhere around 7 months.... no tobacco cigs since day one (not counting the 1 a few months ago to see if I still liked it)

I plan by the end of the year to be totally off nic, but not really pushing that

I bought an ecig as a joke last april. I really enjoyed it and bought a couple more. I never intended to quit smoking, it was just a side effect of vaping, I just enjoyed it more, even the constant tinkering. I haven't smoked an ....-log since the last week of April 09, so I'm getting close to a year. At the present I'm trying to decide between a GGTS and a Super 6.

I started vaping on Sept.18 2009. I didn't commit to vaping until around the first week of October.......so I'm ending my 5th month today.

A lot of the long-tiemrs have their own board, some have moved on now and they don't grace us with their presence as often because, well, they have it under control and sorted
Don't take their absence to mean no-one stays on vaping long term. They just don't call any more, don't send flowers...ah romance is dead

13 months here! I quit for a couple of months (haven't smoked since last january, but stopped vaping for a month or two). Then I started babysitting and the lady I babysit for, her mother smokes so bad and stinks so bad...and when she would come to pick the kids up, she would stink up my house (just with her smell on her clothes and her breathe, she never smoked IN my house) and would throw her butts everywhere in my driveway and walkway! So, I charged one up to show it to her in hopes that she could stop stinking and figured since I opened up a brand new atty and had a nicely charged battery...I might as well vape it! I noticed that I can vape instead of eat and have since lost 43 pounds (since middle of August, and I'm still going for another 17...I wanna be the hot 110 pounder...well, I can get the weight, but not the hot part down...but heck, that's half the battle). Let me say I'm not saying one should vape for weight loss...I'm just saying that I do it to stop from eating as much...just my personal experience...

So, what was I saying...yes, 13 months here!

A year and a quarter, since October 2008. Started with an Njoy super-mini (shudder), but my next step was a Screwdriver... went hardcore right away.

Coming up to 13 months. Started with a DSE 901 - and stopped smoking day one. Switched to a Screwdriver in April 09 when I realised how many 901 batteries I was getting through.
