I had my doubts, but once i tried rolling a wick with cheesecloth i dont think i'll ever go back. It is very simple, and VERY cheap.
you cannot dry burn though.
Lots of flavor, and no burnt hits. Works well in my Protank, puritank, and my davide glassomizer.
If you like to rebuild and havent tried it yet, give it a shot.

i havent tried cottonballs. i amy do that tonight. just regular cotton yarn from walmart, or a craft store?
Have you tried regular cotton from cotton balls or yarn? If so, how does it compare?

Started with cotton balls but have since moved to yarn, loving it both in it's wicking and ease of use.
Getting 120 yards for $2 wasn't half bad either :)

i would agree the taste threw me off for a minute. i was trying a new juice, i popped in a evod head with silica, and went right back to the cheesecloth. my tastebuds seem to prefer it. obviously not everybody is the same. what do you use sawtoothscream?

right now im using my normal protank heads, idk what they use but it taste great to me. I have a evod and another protank head with unbleached cleeth cloth from bed bah and beyond. The evod one doesnt taste bad with the gummy bear juice on using but the others it taste kind of weird on IMO.

Also tried cotton balls and that was crap. tried doing it a few times and was never happy with it

I've been using the cheesecloth from Bed Bath and Beyond 100% Natural Cotton Cheese Cloth - Bed Bath & Beyond. I know it says "all natural" and all that, but I still boiled it for about 15 minutes first and there was a yellowish cast to the water when I was done. I use this method http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/385799-how-i-re-wick-my-t3s-cheesecloth-pictues.html and it works pretty well, but I must say that counting out individual strands can get tedious. Does anyone have another method that works well?

i dont count out threads. i just cut a small piece and roll it up. never thought it would be necessary to count them out.

Same here. If I had to count out individual strands from cheesecloth, I'd have given up rebuilding a lot sooner than I actually did.
