Hmmmmmm interesting you can get 4 hours.

You're not going to like my report either. The one I put in this morning went 5 strong and then dropped, but was still OK for another hour or so until I realized I had a fresh one in my bag and just switched. The last couple of hours I was biking and stopping to take photos so I wasn't vaping quite as hard, but I did get a good half a day out of it. I can't believe with all the people using these things that no one has a good answer for you, but something 'ain't right'. I am pretty hard on batteries too. As an example, I get about 2.5-3 hours on average from the Mega-510s. Like someone else already mentioned I am starting to feel anxiety for you over this too.

Reporting in....I do believe I have ONE out of the new bunch that has lasted tonight for several hours. I put it in at like 5 pm and it's 11 ish now. I vaped on it for about an hour before people got here. I could not vape on it all night non stop or anything, but would go and take lots of vapes here and there when I could and then I've been vaping it for about another hour and a half and it hasn't dropped yet. So I have 4 of these and the first one I tried did drop in an hour or so, one hasn't dropped and is holding up and I have 2 more to try. These, again, were from HTD.

I ordered from dealextreme the same batteries. Out of the 4 I have, 2 don't last that long the hits become a lot weaker. So your not the only one.

Not that this is good to hear, but it's a bit comforting to hear that I'm not the only one. lol I am batting about 1 out of 12 batteries between both places. The only one that is lasting several hours is 1 from HTD. That's it. At least you got a 50/50. ;)

Hi Lucky -

I've been using the silver protected UltraFire from Protected UltraFire 14500 AA sized 3.6V Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery 900 mAh CR14500 Lithium Ion and just pulled a batt I've been using on and off for the past 24 hours and still have a reading of 3.84... it's still vaping fine.

I have 2 batts I rotate for use in my Protege (I change them out everyday) and throughout the day alternate between using my Protege and Prodigy. I know I get several hours out of it.

Seriously, if you want I'll send you one of the ones I've been using. Just PM me. I will only use protected batts myself so if I were in your situation I'd try an unprotected one just to see if it worked but I'd still want a protected batt to use on a regular basis.

Monk ... The protected battery I got from Lucky, dropped from 4.2+v to roughly 3.6v within about 30-40 minutes ... I then used my own Tenergy Unprotected Battery (its roughly 3-4 weeks old) Started just a hair lower if my memory serves me correctly, and roughly 5 hours later was at about 3.5v ...

So, in essence ... Lucky's Battery drained the same amount as mine ... except hers did it in half an hour and mine did it in 5 hours ...

That's the reason I don't even use the protected Ultrafires I have ... they just have never performed well.

Also ... I checked her switch to see if perhaps voltage was leaking past the switch ... Turned my multimeter to a reading of 2v (so I could see even fractions like .001 or the like) but was getting .000 across the board. So voltage definitely wasn't leaking.

Steve, I got a multimeter and understand what to do on mesuring voltage. My question is, when a batty starts out around 4.2 V, what am I looking for? What voltage should it hold at for several hours before taking a dive? What would be considered the voltage dive that they are too weak to vape at? Thanks.

That brought a smile to MY face. You're a class act, Shiva. I was so hoping somebody would offer Lucky a properly working battery so that we could ALL get to the bottom of this. Very, very nice gesture. Thank you.
