Latakia has a smoky nuance, as advertised. I'm finding it "thin" in other areas but have only mixed it once. I haven't found a Flavourart tobacco flavor I don't like, though Desert Ship has some tones that overwhelm me, regarding Latakia my particular jury is still debating.
