Also look up Smoketip - that is how I started and it is a very good setup - also it has automatic batteries in it's kit and those batteries have a life warranty, which they stand by. Their cartos have an excellent draw and I have been reusing/refilling them for weeks at a time - per each! Really well built and quality stuff.

I've ben vaping for a while now, mostly using 510's, but my wife wants to start vaping again, but shes not too keen on the 510 setup. I've heard alot about the KR808d's and I'm wondering whos got the best ones? She also wants the automatic short batteries any tips on that as well? Thanks in advance.
I don't know what you mean by your wife doesn't like the 510 setup.
However if you are looking for genuine Joye or 808 products you can try:
Electronic Cigarette Supplies & Electronic Cigarette Refills for Name-Brand Electronic Cigarettes! E-Cigs from LiteCigUSA
This may or may not be the best place but I know they have good products.

Just try to keep in mind the smaller the battery the less power it has. The shorter it's life and the more often it has to be recharged. Most beginners want a cigarette like battery and it usually isn't long before they move on to a larger one. The 510 thread is the most popular and 808 is second. Stick with one of these and there will always be a large variety of cartos, cartomizers and accessories available.

There are many others and there many imatation and rebranded pruducts. Most of those are good and if you know what you buying you can get a better price. Then of there are a few crappy ones that may only last a month or two,

My Mom has the Bloog Maxxfusion. She LOVES it. I am actually, not a huge fan of it. It would work in a pinch, but I prefer Vapor4Life. I wasn't able to get a good throat hit off the Bloog with their cartomizers. I even tried carto from Vapor4life and I just couldn't get it the way I wanted. I don't know if I was doing something wrong or what, but that was my experience with Bloog, though, my Mom loves it. Also, I don't think Bloog has a short if that's what you're wife wants. Vapor4Life has a bunch of colors and also has a 20% off discount code for the 8th only. Elvis20. I have vapor4life and I am loving it. Just stay away from V2cigs. They always have back order issues and are very frustrating to deal with.

Still, I am sure there are people on here with more knowledge about who has the best KR808 out there.

Seems way overpriced for what appears to be a joye knockoff. Off course I can't really tell because they don't give a shred of information. Maybe there's a reason for that. How many milliamps is the battery? What's the voltage. Who makes it? Who makes the juice? What thread is it? Just a few of the things I want to know before buying.

Mine is from vapor4life. I wasnt too thrilled with them in the beginning, i bought the kit and some V4L coolcart cartos. The kr8 got me going, it did help me cut down on analogs , but when i got my eGo, the kr8 immediately became the backup, and i was completely off analogs.

Asked around this forum and found the vaporEtc LR and bloog cartos, gave them a try and wow, what a difference!! Dont know if it works for everyone, but this setup works for me, and now i really enjoy vaping my kr8!!

I think if you research the experiences of people who have used or still use Smoketip you will find that people are very happy with the product. It may have a slightly higher price but you will never have to buy batteries to replace of any you bought from them. Their cartomizers and batteries seem to be something they did good research on and they last. The voltage is 3.7 just like any other 808's. The juice, the attys and the cartos are probubly sourced from China, just like all the others - but these are made well. Just because they may all come from China doesn't mean they are all the same. They are not a mall vendor selling junk. Anyway, I only suggest that you research Smoketips your choice is not mine to make.
