depends on what upgrades it has. I have a 4, and I'm waiting for flashplayer to be included before I buy another. At least with the iPhone there is NO chance of getting a virus from an e-mail. Its a feature I cant live without. I've locked up and re-booted too many PC's to ever go back to a non-Apple product. Killed a cellphone once that way as well. More money up front, but time and peace of mind won out in the end.

EVO 4G here, I see no reason to upgrade anytime soon.

Normally I wouldn't(previous phone was a Nextel BB 6250 that I had for years), but the GF loves my Evo (she has a Shift and hates it). Since the Nexus is a Google Dev phone (pure Android) so it will always gets the latest and greatest updates first. So I'll be carrying it around for several years, and maybe get back into deving.

I want one bad.
oct 4 is a big announcement from apple so we will see.

Wow great announcement, huh? The new iPhone, which is the old iPhone only with a processor that will use battery faster and ancient "speech" capabilities that Windows, Amiga, Google, and everyone else has had for years.

Do I want one? NO. Did I ever want any i(insert item here)? Never. I am just fine with my non-sheep items that perform better at a lower price without the 'magic' of Apple's advertising firm and cult of personality.

The age has come when a phone costs the same as a flat screen TV and even parents are dishing them out their 10 year olds (during a recession) who will glue there eyes to them to adulthood whether or not they are on the move because they will never know the time when there was no such thing as a mobile phone, when people got their kicks putting coins in a machine that talked back at them on a street corner and if they ran out of coins, would conjur up something else to do like maybe inhale some tobacco fumes. They will look back into the history books and think we were all quite mad.
