id like to buy one of these...but the fact is there isnt a UK supplier who offers a warranty-except pillbox, whos charging £70 with a 30 day guarantee-in other words not good enough and far too expensive...

and i personally find dealing with european companies in warranty matters too slow and a pain in the ......

the fact that you cant get spares for them puts me right off...

why arent there spares offered for this epipe?

any suppliers care to comment?

Only place i have seen with replacements.
E-cig.com has a lot of people that dont trust them any more, so i am not sure what to tell you.
Did you Ask Shawn if he can order them?

I don't think they are the same, the 601 from Litecig seem to work, my pipe from e-cig was a disaster. By the reviews they cannot be the same,
DSE 601 works, e-cigs e-pipe does not, I'm not alone in finding this, the e-cigs one simply does not work with carts, needs to be dripped, dies in a few days.

I don't know if they are the same, but my pipe from ecig.com has been smoking like a chimney now for almost a week (touch wood).
So far no complaints and I am a very happy monkey - although I have only been drip smoking the thing...

Anyhow if it packs up on me, I have a spare and ecig.com seem to offer a 3yr warranty, so hoping they will live up to that should push come to shove!

well yohan reckons theyre different products...so do other epipe users on the european forums...

i just wish suppliers would provide spares for the 601 model...surely it cant be that hard...

and i also wish manufacturers would design a small screw out atomiser, instead of having to replace the whole body of the pipe...its such a stupid and wasteful design...

I hope it works out for you. Does it work with carts? I've not found anyone who could get the e-cig version to work with carts. For the few days it worked dripping was fine.
I really hope your warranty experience is better than mine, emails ignored, live help suddenly looses connection when replacement is mentioned. I've written it off, e-cig will get no more of my money.

Hi Pete -

Well after I did that post, guess what - for the first time since I've had the thing, vapour production started diminishing somewhat... it's still going pretty well, but definitely not as good as the first week. I'm gonna learn to keep my big trap firmly shut!

I haven't tried the carts at all - just prefer dripping generally which was working pretty well... anyway now I just need to find out how to go about cleaning the damn atomiser! I know other posters have suggested leaving it upside down to drain over night but are there any other suggestions?

PS. sorry - I know this is not 601, but still relevant to pipes in general

I believe there is some sort of cleaning mode which may help. Leaford I think has done this. It involves shorting the little brass square to the battery connector, it's on the forum somewhere can't remember where.

Good luck

Pete

What would be the cost of a replacement atomizer? and will it be the whole pipe assembly minus the battery and mouthpiece, or will it be a replaceable part inside the pipe unit?

to answer the question yes i will have the pipe atomizers in stock here within a week.
