Wholesale tax

Sorry if this is not the right place, i couldn't start a thread anywhere else as a new member.


So I've been lurking around reading some stuff about states putting on a "wholesale" tax. Now does that mean a tax on stores buying wholesale from vendors? or on the person buying the product at the store. When i think of wholesale i think buying a large amount from a vendor to sell.

Well if they tax the wholesaler then typically that cost is eventually passed on to the retailer and ultimately passed on to the consumer. So yes it does effect you. Any tax eventually effects the consumer.
