They made silicon rubber caps for the type A tanks, idk why they haven't done this for the type B tanks yet. Those rubber caps fixed all the leaking issues with the type A.

I don't know, but my guess would be that it might be due to it being more of a tight fit with the type B tanks. I tried putting a single wrap of plumbers Teflon tape on one of mine to stop the leaking and the fit was so tight, it wouldn't fit on the atty with it on.

I also had the same leaking problem. Tried a lot of the suggested ideas, but the one that has worked the best so far, really surprised me! All I did, was take lighter draws. It has worked all day today, into the night, as I am typing this. Not one leak. What I noticed when taking lighter draws, is that I no longer hear the gurgling sound that I used to hear. Whenever I heard that gurgling, I would take off the tank, and the atty would be flooded, causing it to leak. Now, I only hear air being sucked in, and I haven't flooded my atty once! I did order the silicone caps though, just in case this was just a fluke.
