As a trucker, I wanted something that would be easier to use than trying to drip into an rda while driving. I bought a reo mini a couple years ago and loved how easy it was to squonk & drive! A little while later Rob came out with a variable voltage Reo & I grabbed one. Unfortunately those were prone to button failure and sadly it doesn't work anymore. I bought a mini 2.1 after that & now I've got a new sl/lp grand waiting for me at home that came in the mail Monday & can't wait to unbox her! This vaping thing's really turning into a collection hobby for me now as I've got lots of toy's to choose from.

Because I did not buy the extended warranty for my ProVari and my year was about up. Now - as long as I can still turn a screwdriver, have an eraser with me and charged batteries - I'm golden.

If you believe the hysteria going on with DIY, the only thing I can suggest is a solar charging station - fer realz. I bet we could smoke Crisco in a Reo (with a few drops of 151) and it'd be awesome.

Just FYI, I had Rob replace a button for me on my VVW once. I don't remember what it cost me but it wasn't much. I'm actually thinking about asking him to re-finish the VVW and maybe give it a fresh button because I've worn the paint off the edge. - After I add a skeletonized grand, I think I'd like to get the VVW fully restored ;)

Thanks, it hasn't worked for a VERY long time & I kinda just put it away and forgot about it. I do remember him saying he would replace the button, so I might shoot him an email to see if he's still doing that.

I started out with the requisite cigalikes and then egos and then 3.7 box mods. When I finally got into variable voltage.. I just couldn't see going back to something that wasn't voltage adjustable. I had looked and wanted a Reo but at the time they were either always out of stock or just didn't suit my vaping style at the time. Fast forward... I started messing with genesis attys and mechs and found that I liked an unregulated device. When the rebuildable bottom fed atty became available.. and I was already building my own coils.. I figured maybe it was time to finally get a Reo. So I did. It did take me a little while to fall in love but when I did.. I've fallen hard lol.

I've started selling off other devices because.. the Reos are getting most all of the attention. They're just so simple and easy. No worry about whether it's going to wick right or not. No worry about anything. It's made me a lazy vaper. And yes, I too have an Old Goat ;) but it's now in my box of "vaping history pieces"

My Reos have ruined me for anything else. I used to always be on the lookout for something better. But now I can't imagine anything else being any better. I don't even window shop any more. What's the point?

My route here was fast & furious paved by $$$ on junk that was not working. Started with ego twist and tank. As the days and weeks past I could not get a consistent vape. I dove head first into DIY because the local B&M wanted a arm and leg for a ml of juice. But day after day things changed, leaked, and required constant fiddling to the point I was getting frustrated. I started re-building PT2 coils and that helped some but the vape was hit and miss every few days. Read about carto tanks so I grabbed three provaris, 10 tanks and all the cartos I could find. Single hole, double hole, triple hole, slotted hole. I tried them all so that I could get the satisfied vape to keep me going. I ended up ordering a eBaron Pro dripper and liked that a lot but it was very inconvenient when not at home. Nothing lasted more than a few weeks and then I was searching again. I was literally spending hours each night rebuilding, priming etc....just to make it through the next day. While I was waiting on the kayfun to arrive I stumbled onto the REO forum. I was a little hesitant about mec mods. I liked the safety of a regulated device but decided to try a REO. After getting my first REO I was so amazed that I immediately ordered another one. I sold the Kayfuns unopened and unused. Now 15 REO's later everything else gone I just fill some bottles and charge the batteries. It is coming up on 6 months with a REO and I haven't even looked at other mods. I owe the people here a more than most of them know and I appreciate all the advice and congratulations along the way. If not for the REO and the people I can't imagine where I would be today.

Why a REO?.....Because nothing else worked

Wow its been a hard road for many, but determination and persistence wins in the end. I started with Ego batteries and various clearo's, the Kangar protank 2 was an early favourite, but used a lot of coils up. I was having trouble finding a suitable juice too, somewhere I read about 510 atties, you know the ones about the size of a bullet for dripping. I was on FT getting something, probably an ego twist, and found these 510 atties, got some they were cheap, might be good for testing juices I thought. Well, the flavor from these atties blew me away, and I headed straight in the dripper direction, eventually running RDA's on ego batts, and later, MVP and VAMO. But for work duties, I stuck to the ego batts because they are small. I liked the box form of the MVP. Somewhere along the line Reo's came to my attention. There were reservations over the price, and it's not a regulated mod and needing to be a competent coil builder to adjust the power. Being electrically minded I was also wondering how on earth the vape could be consistent as the battery voltage gets lower. I saw how many people were liking this mod so eventually went for it and ordered a Grand, just to check it out and see for myself if it was as good as they all say. I had it running in an hour or so and there were big smiles (mostly thanks to SXD's vids) I knew straight away I was onto something very good. After that it just got better and better as I got to know the mod.

ETA - when SXD said in one of his vids "you'll be vaping like a rock star" well I really had to see if that was true because that was what I wanted, and that is what I got :)

Hi All,
Sounds like most of us took a tortured path to finally find something that "just works".

I wonder if Rob saw an uptick in sales after the Busardo review? It also sounds like most of us would have saved time and money if more reviews were out there beyond ECF.

On the other hand, as someone noted above, one of the joys of the Reo is that you can actually buy one. Rob seems to be the only mod maker other than Provari that understands customer service starts with being able to deliver a product people want to buy. It seems that in the vaping world rarity is considered it's own selling point. Though I suspect the clone makers have something to do with that as well.

So about those Woodvils....... (have to have kind of guy).

Seriously, dripping while trying to steer 78,000 at 75 MPH is hazardous ! I was about a month into vaping with an Janty eGo starter kit when I started a Thread asking about Rough- Service Cartos. The only good thing that came out of that thread was a PM that I received from an ECF Moderator named ClassWife informing me of REOS Mods. I've tried several VV eGo style/ Clearo set-ups since, they all broke or failed. Now REOS Mods are the only ones I am interested in buying, the Perfect Mod for me personally.

I took the route most here have, cigalike -> ego clearomizer -> VV/VW and cartotanks then RBA -> RDA and mechs. Then I stumbled on to Nicoticket for eliquid and everyone there (we call them the enablers) was raving about the REO calling it the official Nicoticket delivery device. The rest we shall say is history, I received my first about 3 weeks ago and today ordered my second.

The REO is ideal for me as I have a 2 hour commute when I'm home and when I travel for work I don't have to worry about the leaking you get from a KFL or Russian from the changes in air pressure. I still drip and use my ProVari with the KFL, but the REO is now my go to device.

I started vaping early April 2014. Was still smoking. My sister gave me a ego twist as she saw how vaping helped her husband quit heavy smoking easily in a week. I bought a Nautilus tank to go with the twist. The ego twist is nice but I hate that I have to keep charging it and it's not consistent. Got a provari within a week, a second provari as a backup within a week of the first. Completely quit smoking 5/1. But I keep looking for a better vape and easier way to fill eliquid. Don't know why but I found filling the tank frustrating. Then I got a kayfun lite plus clone as the replacement nautilus head keep dying on me. Found the Reo forum here but I have doubt as it looks big for my hand and I don't know if I'd like box mod and mech. Saw the pbusardo review and decided to get one to try. Love the idea of bottle of Ejuice and it looks easier to fill juice and try dripping RDA at the same time. Got my first mid-May and have already sold my two Provari. Too bad financial problem comes up and so don't have the money to but a second Reo yet. But I know as soon as I saved up I'll get a second Reo :)

The service offered by Rob is awesome. The availability to email him to ask for certain color or items not showing in stock online is great. He is always communicating on the forum and I just feel that he really cares about his customers.

I still want to try different mod or those higher wattage device sometimes. But I kept telling myself there's no way those mod can beat the ease of use and repair of a Reo and the service that comes with owning one. I just wished I had found the Reo earlier :)

Well for me it was a no brainer. I really liked the quality of the vape I got dripping, but I hated the actual dripping. So I used RBAs so I wouldn't have to drip. When I figured out what the REO is, I knew it was for me. Drip quality vape without PITA dripping! The quality of the device, the simplicity of use, the rabid and amazing REO community, Rob and his customer service, were all factors in my belief that I needed a REO.
Really though, I just wanted to vape like a Boss.

I'd been vaping for over two years when I found Reoville. I was also a serious dripper for over a year. I would destroy and need to replace my variable volt devices 2 to 3 times a year. Went looking for a tough mod that always worked and that's when I ordered the Reo and RM2. It was also the first time rebuilding coils. I was not sure if I'd like since it was not a regulated mod. Well I'm happy to say it was 1000 times better than I expected. So now I have 8 and I'm trying to hold out for 9 to be a mechanical Woodville.

Well, everything about performance and convenience has been said. It's just a reliable, predictable fantastic vape.

My experience with Rob's customer service came about when one of the two mods I ordered wasn't fireing. It was probably a minor thing but I'm not that techy so i couldn't fix it, and in the process I managed to short my other REO ( the spring did it's job and collapsed). After discussing with Rob I sent them back to him, and he fixed both and posted them back free of charge. I fully expected to at least cover the cost for the mod I shorted but they both came back no questions asked.

That's customer service, especially when you consider I live in Australia, not sure many businesses have that much consideration for their customers around the world...
