Why almost 80% of vapers are Asians?

Myself is Asian too but just curious. I have been trading mods to this and that but like all of them were wither Pinoy or Chinese. And most of vape shops running by Asian also and employees are. Is there specific reason?

It is also possible that as far as businesses, since so much product comes from Asia, Asians may have a bit more familiarity or even contacts that give them a leg up.

Most likely your location, the e-cig users I've seen in my town, so far, mostly caucasian. The shops are owned by Indians/Pakistani.

Not originally invented in China, but the guy who brought us the modern working version was. So that's where the manufacturing started. I would have to assume that first use spread from there for that reason. Then it just followed cultural jumps all over the globe. In other words, you guys were lucky and got to beat everyone else to it first!

That would be my theory.

I can't stop laughing. I'm in SWFL and have yet to meet an asian vaper. The shop owners (6 shops in the city of 150k) are all Florida crackers (a term of endearment around these parts) or transplant from NY & NJ like the rest of the business owners around here.

Tech is a strong component of Japanese culture; we have nothing on them with our Apple/Android mania.

I'm in the bay area and only know 2 asians who vape. The b&ms I've been in have all been staffed by caucasians.

I'm guessing that your experience is a SoCal thing.

My local B&M is owned by a country boy and I've never seen an Asian in the store or vaping on the street.

As an Asian, I have witnessed this first hand. Among my Asian friends and relatives, 75% of them are in science and technology fields. The other 30% are in various business fields.

I'm calling my parents to ask about this. It sounds as if they have some explaining to do about the lies they told me growing up. I knew nothing about my 80% Asian heritage.
