Why haven't we seen anything fresh like this?Carbon Fibre Pipe
If someone built a pipe mod like that with vv and sleek discrete buttons id buy it near regardless of cost.
While I used to enjoy a good briar back in my leaf burning days I DONT SMOKE ANYMORE. I really wish that form factor would evolve, there's so much potential

i saw a pipe mod that slips on an ego batt and looks real sleak and "new aged"

This is a pic of mine with an Echo auto. !3.00 for the Bowl and 13.00 for an auto battery.

:2cool:

They work best with an auto battery but can be used fairly easy with a 650 manual too.

Have you seen epipemods pipes?! Here's an example http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/165181-epipemods-com-fully-custom-made-wood-e-pipes-post5273014.html#post5273014 Take a look at the website epipemods.com. Gorgeous stuff!

Personally I find the kuwako to be vulgar and pointless. I want an improved vaping experience, not silly stick on bits. I've seen epipemods work and while I appreciate the craftsmanship, the pipes there are exactly my problem. They all follow the aesthetic traditions of the briar smoking pipe. If "ecigs" had done the same we'd all still be vaping minis or back on analogs. Now the pipe shape offers in my opinion the best of ergonomics and compact design, my point is simply why not modernize the aesthetics. Not everyone wants to look like Sherlock Holmes

lol vulgar and pointless and stick ons. You could say that about any PV device. They all use cartos and batteries. The Kuwako is nicely made and gives you the feel of using a pipe at a very reasonable price. I enjoy the vape I get from my Echo PV and the Kuwako just makes it better. If you are looking a VV pipe or something different I understand but to call it vulgar and pointless is a little harsh.

I've seen mods made from actual 'pipes'...metal, pipes. Now to me, that's vulgar. To each his/her own...

I don't feel calling the kuwako vulgar and pointless was harsh as I clearly indicated that it was my personal opinion. I place it in the same category as the stick on hood scoop. It has no practical purpose, it is simply an aesthetic add on and one I feel detracts from the original design. I'm sure many disagree, I certainly see enough autozone customization here.

If you're referring to the copper mods I have to disagree. They have a pure, functional, industrial look about them. That same look is what drew me to the roughstack for my first mod. And having spent a lot of time with it I still think its quite good looking in an "everything you need, nothing you dont" sort of way. There are many good looking mods, some moreso than others. A mod is in and of itself functional. It is a casing that holds and protects a battery and connects that battery to a switch and a connector. My problem with the kuwako is that its none of the above. Had jaunty built a pipe style ego battery, utilizing the shape to hold larger cells or more advanced electronics then I would happily count myself amongst its proponents. But its simply a piece of plastic that slips over an ego battery, making it needlessly bigger, destroying the unity of line, and providing no real improvement to the vaping experience than making your ego look like a poorly crafted, disproportionate (crack) pipe

Well I smoked a pipe a lot when I was a smoker and half of the enjoyment was puffing on it and holding it. It is a great accessory for me. It looks good and if you didn't know it, you would not know it was an add on and it is much more comfortable to hold than a mod or fat batt PV. It does everything any other epipe could do for me and it only cost me 12.99. So you can buy you a bowl that holds a battery and push a button to use it and pay a hundred dollars more.
I will be content to use the battery I already have and carto that matches it with my vulgar and pointless good looking Automatic Echo Kuwako. lol

Um. Because that one costs $2500, and by the time you'd destroyed two prototyping a system, then putting all the electronics in a third, and pricing it enough to compensate for the time and labor you put into it, you wouldn't have a buyer willing to spend $10,000. That's just a guess, though.

If Janty had built an epipe with electronics built in then it would not have the versatility of the Kuwako, which can be 650 mah or 1300 mah, automatic or manual....and if Janty had built it they may or may not have left it with standard threading

as it is now you can do whatever you want with it, it is not limited to Ego's. It does exactly what you say the pipe shape should do, adjust the ergonomics.

Epipemods does not just make pipes of the traditional variety either, they make the mjorn and the blowfish style as well.
