California only restricts the sale of certain flavors from those vendors, such as Green Smoke, 21st Century Smoke and I think SmokeStik, who offer prefilled cartos. They want them to be less appealing to underage children. I find this to be well meaning, but asinine none the less, because it won't stop them from buying the flavors from other sources.

I think OP is referring to SmokeTip and a maybe others who sell pre-filled. It just says on their site they will not ship flavors other than tobacco and menthol to CA and if you want to know the reason contact the CA attorney general with a link to the AG's page.

From SmokeTip's site:

WE CANNOT SHIP FLAVORS TO YOUR STATE. YOU CAN ORDER REGULAR, COWBOY & MENTHOL.

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PLEASE VISIT Contact Us | State of California - Department of Justice - Kamala D. Harris Attorney General OR CALL (800) 952-5225.

I live in CA, buy juice from a lot of different vendors and have not had a problem. Leave it to my state (and MA) to do something completely stupid, but so far we can still get mail without a cavity search. Might take away our Happy Meals, the Pledge in schools, Christ in Christmas, flying the American Flag and leaning Socialist, but think our juice is safe for a little longer.

There are oodles of juice vendors in CA. You just need to try some other places. There is a brick/mortar in Laguna Beach too. Ecig City. I have bought from Bombay Vaping and they have nice flavors. Liquid Xpress is also in CA. You have many choices once you start looking at other juice vendors.

I'm sure a ton of others too.

I looked at Mollie's previous posts. She got a Greensmoke kit, and yes, they don't ship their chocolate or vanilla flavors to California.

Honestly Mollie, if you're still in your 30 days, I'd recommend returning the GS kit for a refund and look into the Forum suppliers to get a different kit. GS kits and prefilled carts are overpriced, and you can find better quality and a broader range of supplies, ejuice flavors, and accessories from the Forum Suppliers.

I only offer this advice due to the fact that I did the same thing you did, and ended up returning my GS kit after coming here and learning more about the wonderful world of vaping. I ended up getting a Riva Lite starter kit from liberty-flights.com for under $30.00 with their discount code. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask here, the locals are really good with clarifying on some of the subjects that seem a bit confusing.

LOL, yeah. California tries to be so "cool" and cutting edge. I mean, I do cake decorating as a hobby and I can't buy dragees (those silver balls you see on wedding cakes) because some jerk lawyer decided they were not "edible." You can buy dragees in other states, it's only banned in California. Also, the anti-smoking nazi's here are pretty nasty- which was why I decided to give vaping a try. There are apartment buildings where I live that have mandatory signs on their buildings stating that some sort of "known carcinogen" i.e. tobacco is present, aside from things like solvents and other chemicals blah blah blah. Dang. Makes me want to move out of state.

I buy Green Smoke- they're based in Miami. I really enjoy their two-piece design and their customer service has been really great. They have the cartomizer thingees ;-) I guess I can always try some other brands now that I'm enjoying vaping.

I recall the days when I was a kid-- when they sold candy cigarettes! I think they were gum or something like that. Boy, those were the days, LOL.

Thanks, Missinglink. I will give Riva Lite a try. I'm still so new to all this- I'm still trying to sort out the various vendors and supplies. It's so confusing because there is so much information out there to digest at this point, but that's a good thing :D

If you have any questions at all, just ask!

Those silver ball thingys are the devil. I almost broke a tooth on one of them once.
