Why are mods/APV's better than ego?

I still use my ego from time to time after all this time of me vaping. It's a nice fall back mod, there have been cases where I have forgotten to charge ALL of my PV's/batteries...and do I feel good when I go to the vape shelf only to notice my trusty 2 year old ego..it's such a nice feeling. It vapes well enough to get the job done for a few hours until everything else is charged back up.

APV's, in the end, just provide more customization to your vaping experience. They give you options to change different settings - they last longer - they hold a charge longer - they just do a lot of things a bit better. But a lot of people forget where their roots are with vaping, I would say a solid 90% of people on this forum have used/ or owned an ego at one point or another. An EGO device is a great start, but just like your first bike...you grow out of it quickly and need to update it with a bigger size so you are more comfortable :)

I've had more egos break than I would care to count. The shaft comes apart from the head, and poof, they're done. As far as vaping experience, when I went from the kr808 to an ego I was amazed at the difference. I'd go back to vaping an 808 and it was like vaping air. Now I go from my vv\vw Innokin to an ego and its like vaping air. Besides, Im an active person and a waitress, I need something that's gonna be durable. 15-25 bucks is too much to spend o something that's practically disposable.
